Several of you are musicians, and all of us are interested in where the human race is heading, so
I was wonderring if you Musicians are going to follow this news example and have the same done to you:

do you think that it is a pr-matter when musicians play with "obscenity"?
Alice Cooper with his blood stained shirt and overusing eyeliner, Ozzy, who has bitten off a bats head..now Arcadious having an ear implanted into his arm.

A justified question, bets: "Where is the human race heading?".

Did music as a device for expression become that exhausted, that it is neccessary to arouse attention this way?
What has happened to profound lyrics and tonal concepts that carry the audience along?

I don't know the answer to any of those questions, Pulsar,
but I know that 'anti-humane'(?) approaches are being 'created'
in the visual arts too.
All I can react with is to broaden my sense of  humor.  :D  :-/  >:(

I wonder where he got the 3rd ear? is he a grave digger too? :-X sometimes it may be necessary to ignore bad behavior if kids just want to see if they can get your attention, it must be a cry for help in the end.
some jobs I learned I am simply lacking the qualifications for to answer this call for love.

the reason I look at humanity this way: ACIM taught me people are either expressing love or they are screaming for love. its the same on the stage and the media, in the marketplace, in the office politics, in the music field.
screaming for attention is same as screaming for love. I suppose the squeaky wheel gets the grease though?  ::) meaning I'm sure a good psychologist will appear sooner or later for some dude with an extra ear in the wrong place, although that just settles the question of mutilation of the body and not the underlying problem of his need to do this.
it may boil down to people feeling like a number instead of a human being, they might get desperate and do strange things, get strange ideas while trying to be more than a number. he may just be thinking its like a tatoo or ?

well if I ever see him I'll be sure to psychoanalyze him properly, also the surgeon needs a talking to!  :P
where is music going? I hope it starts moving somewhere where individuals are noted, yet every commonality of humanity is also noted and appreciated.
