During my Astral Travels, I have a strong desire to connect with Spirits in a lucid way. And I want to help anyone I can, but I haven't encountered anyone who needs help. I am invited in for a quick view of their happy moments, and then they vanish. Maybe in time, I will have more expanded interaction. It's always possible that they ask "Where did she go?"  I want to stay longer, and perhaps subconsciously, I feel I am intruding. Consciously, I feel that they have allowed me a glimpse, and there is more to come. I might feel a bit odd blurting out "Hey, have you seen Ed Poe anywhere around ? I think we might be related." In a way, I feel like a newly dead soul who lost her compass during the Astral Trips. In time, I want to feel more comfortable, and help someone.

It sounds like you are in training, and when your spiritual guidance feels you are ready to step into an afterlife situation where help is needed, you'll get thaose assignments too.  Most of the retrievals that are done with Bruce Moen's methods are assigned by spiritual guidance, so we all just have to develop through whatever steps we're given.

Have you read "Necessary Skills" and Retrieval Archives" (listed up at the top of this page) ? There's probably some info in those that would help point you in the right direction. Our host Bruce Moen wrote those and he has an excellent way of getting through to the afterlife.
