(I don't really mean 'grande finales', but I started to write 'no happy endings?' and that didn't work either :-[  )

When we find ourselves in a self-retrieval, what is the ending 'supposed to' be like?
I don't remember how all the posted ones have ended, but it seems there's often no other Spiritual Helpers and no rising to a Healing Center, as when we retrieve others.  The conclusion seems to be just the recognition that this retrieved form is part of ourselves and then there is a sense of wholeness or rightness that is enough.
Can anyone remind me how this works and why?

I remember finding myself sitting in a clearing, and from up  the path came my guide leading a small boy by the hand. They sat down with me, and without words we spoke about this child's sadness and how lonely he felt. He was dressed so oddly, in a dress with shorts on under the skirt, and was almost crying. My guide told me that this was a great gift for me, turned to the child and told him he was safe at last, and with that the child crawled up on my lap. We put our arms around each other. As we hugged he sort of passed in to me, and we were One once more. The feeling of completion was almost too much to bear, and I could feel physical tears in my physical ears back in C-1 (the sliver of me stilll there in C-1).

The overall sense was one of completion and healing. In other cases it has had to do with events and things from very long ago, but always there is a sense of healing for me.

I often have such episodes when I ask to be taken to "what will help the most" to get Home. I do not think there is a "supposed to" end to them, but healing and a completion and re-cognition of your self.

As I learn more I almost think they are all aspects of Self..... and how else would it be?

After all, YOU are the Gift.
