Title: spanning time in the afterlife
Post by bird on Jul 28th, 2007 at 8:51am
hi everyone -

so what how to spirits spend their time in the afterlife? do some have hobbies like playing music or gardening? do you sit around watching tv? can you cook great food and eat it with friends? are many of life's earthly pleasures available in the afterlife?

from what i understand, yes you can do anything there that you liked doing here.  of course you wouldn't need to eat, but you could eat and enjoy the taste and feeling if you wanted to.

then again i think michael newton mentions that an earthly pleasure isn't the same as it is on earth, so i'm not sure whether it's better, or worse, or just not quite the same?

Well, I suppose we'll never really know until we get there.

During my astral projections (if, in fact, astral projections are actually spirit travel), you can do anything you want as a spirit, except you "mind-walk" (I have no idea what else to call it), and your spirit is not composed of anything detectable by our physical eyes.

What do they do in the afterlife? I don't know, but I must say that my own astral projections were exciting; even though I didn't know what I was actually doing at the time. Based on my experience with what I consider the spirit world, I can picture the spirit world as a place of beauty, peace and freedom, and it's experiences beyond our earthly imagination.
