Title: ghost story Post by hawkeye on Jul 20th, 2007 at 3:30pm
This is a true story of my wife and myselfs.
We live in a small 400 person community on the far west coast of Vancouver Islans in Canada. This community has seen a number of ship wrecks over its time of being. The house we live in is a old one that has been fixed up over the years a number of time but the original structure is still standing and is the part of the house we live in. After moving in my wife and myself began to notice the smell of someone smoking all the time. as we had quit some years back we had no idea of where it was comming from. We bagan to make jokes about how some lady (although we call her a female dog) was smoking up our house. We both also started to smell after shave in the evenings. Later on my wife told me she was experiencing hotness on her legs some nights. Very hot she would say. Well last Christmas we went to our neighbors for a few short ones to bring in the season. LaRaysmother was there. Her mother has been living in out town for all her life. When we told LaRay of what we were experiencing she went a little white and took us over to her mom and had us tell her the story of what was happening. Her mom, Aridie, who is a bit of a local clairvoyant. She told us that some years back there had been an older couple who built the house we live in. Him a life saver for what is now the Coast Guard and his wife. We was lost as sea one day and never came home. She lived in the house untill she passed away. Here is the thing. Ardie told us that the lady somked like a chimney, roll your owns. She had turned to drinking aftershave after he husband had passed away and always smelt of it. Then the topper was that she had introduced the local girls to hot waxing their legs. this was all in the 20's. Cool ah? That our little ghost story. |

Thanks for sharing that Hawkeye.
My brother in law is in Quoquo, just around the corner from you. I love the coast - if global warming lives up to expectations my wife would like to move there. I'm inclined to agree, but I went to school in Arcata CA, then Portland, and I'm only willing to move to places where the sun is visible at least half the time. The Portland Chamber of Commerce used to advertise that the sun is visible on at least 50% of the days of the year (if only for 5 minutes). I guess that I just didn't grow webbed feet fast enough. :-) dave |

Thanks for sharing that, Hawkeye!
Sounds like the old lady is giving your wife some free waxings, maybe trying to make amends for bringing those cigarette smells into your/her house, lol ! You can use mental telepathy to offer her a better place, and set your intent to bring in Helpers or Guidance to help get her retrieved. You can do it from C1 consciousness and don't have to go with them. Just get her focussed on wanting to go, maybe to see her Coast Guard hubby again? When I used to drive by a cemetery near here, I found I picked up spirits who were noticeable due to their smoking and love of whiskey, neither of which we have in the house. I finally got used to doing 'arm-chair retrievals' which started with me trying to catch their attention, then mentally asking them why they still hung around. Every one of them had a different energy, a different story, a different reaction, and yes, a different smell ! :D Only one or two refused to go out of the 24--30 I helped send on. None were violent, as they were not sure what I was. The whole experience was better than TV, once I got over being scared. Bets |

we have a tv show here ghostbusters, where they record and use the camera, but frankly, what they get is nothing near what Hawkeye gives us in humanizing the ghosts, that hot wax treatment is priceless verification. thanks, I simply can't top that one.

Betson- Regarding the retrieval point you make.IE going to 24-30. I thought that offering assistence and/or acknowledgment to have movment to the higher levels would be great for me to offer. I relayed this story to one of the facilitators/trainers from my Gateway week at TMI.(J.K.) What he said really connected with me. He offered the suggestion that perhaps this being did not want or need to move on, but was happy existing right where she is. In fact that my assisting or attempting to make her move on might do more harm than good. She could in fact be right where she needed to be at that time of her existence. I went to F 21 to the bridge and offered assistence/acknowledgment but felt that none was needed at this time. I now see it as not all are ready or need to move through to F27 or elsewhere. Sometimes by extracting these souls from where they are can be more about forcing our realities upon them. To me that would be suppressive upon them and their reality. One should always be sure that the retrieval is desired by the receiver before taking them and attempting to move them towards the belief territories or beyond. By the way she is still at our house and seams very OK with being there.

Greetings,
Hawkeye said: "Sometimes by extracting these souls from where they are can be more about forcing our realities upon them." I never thought about that before, Hawkeye. Thank you, and your friend. I remember one fellow from the cemetery was very willful about not wanting to go. He didn't seem to have any reason, other than possibly a fear of the unknown, or the memory of something he did that he feared retribution. And as well, ;) it's really quite pleasant in North Carolina, so why would anyone want to leave?! So we argued a long time, as I felt I should convince him. He eventually went. He probably should have been allowed to follow his own thoughts on it. :-[ I recall that once (at least) on these boards here I argued with someone until they were angry.----So, how many questions or arguments should one deliver when trying to convince someone? I don't have a "good manners" book for this. :-[ Bets |

I think most people know ininstinctively know if what they are doing is right or not. If you felt it was right to push a bit on getting this soul (for lack of a better word) to move on then it most likely was the right thing to do. It moved on. In my case I wasen't sure and so questioned the action of doing so. I know I made the right decision. Now at some time in the future I will revisit the communication with this sprit/soul/being and ask if assistance is required then. As time in not a factor once experiencing body death, she may have only just noticed herself being there.
