Title: Leftt-hemispheric development Post by betson on Jul 18th, 2007 at 2:47pm
Greetings,
I'm on p. 86 of Ultimate Journey. ( Yes, :-[ I'm backward in reading his last book first, and in reading his work so late.) Monroe says "It is the left brain that removes the limitations on our growth that were present prior to our sojourn here. Only left brain functions can make Unknowns into Knowns." Did he write anything further (after 1994) on the need for 'left-brain' capabilities used for exploring time-space-consciousness? Bets |

not that I know of Bets, but I derived something along these lines from ACIM to support the left brain function of removing limitations.
I assume these limitations are perhaps a little like obstacles we take on before our sojourn here, the veil of forgetfulness. ACIM impressed me with the function of the ability to make a decision firmly. I cannot see the right side of the brain doing the choice by itself, as the right side, my conjecture only, is dreamy, artistic, abstract. the left would be logic and choice and decision, rather like common sense would operate? I see the right side as perceptive and intuitive, and the left as weighing the perceptions brought in. wait. I've got another line of thought I just got from Voyages into Afterlife. I'll go with it over there. follow me! haha! left brain removes.....works with belief systems. |

Sure Alysia,
I'll follow you over there. :) So far I've followed you to the books you read (ACIM etc)and the one you wrote, to your website, and to the website of some places you mention--Roswell and TMI !---what's one more. As an excessively dominantly right-hemisperic learner (ExDRHL?), I just wondered if there's much exploring ahead for me without more input from my left. Bets |

well thanks for all that following dear, but sometimes I think you are leading me instead :D
u know, woman's work is never done it seems. in reference to you're wondering if your left brain is needing to catch up, you seem to be very left brained in your posts, just until you lay a story on us, I can see you've been working both sides. |
