Title: come to an amazing conclusion Post by Kardec on Jul 11th, 2007 at 8:04am
Hi all
I’ve been away for a while.... lot of thoughts to work out…. First of all I live in Brazil as some of you know, so I’m very far from you, and HEY it doesn’t mean anything hehe….I like you all….seekers. We all deal all the time with very complex questions about the afterlife, the meaning of live, and the dimension we came from and will be back to and further…. I also have spent a lot of time wondering exactly how the spiritual world could be and looking forward for the GREAT CHANGE that would take place once I died and get into the spiritual world. Suddenly I realized that the great change must occur INTERNALLY and that the time frame, the dimension, the gender, the society are all only a scenario. So if I can’t find peace and love here and now, it won’t be easier just because my mind changed the plane it focus its attention….just because I’m using a body less dense… So now I realized that the the meaning of live….it doesn’t matter the dimension were one lives…. Is to find peace and love... The great change can be here and now…. Am I crazy??? Love you for real…. |

Hi Kardec. Nice thought. I guess that Buddhism has in a very quiet way been teaching this since whenever so great minds think alike.
The only separation between this life and the afterlife is in the mind, or a just a change in state of consciousness. That we actually jump between states of consciousness all the time - not just waking/sleeping/unconscious/anaesthetised but literally from moment to moment all day. For example focused 100% on a task and unaware of your surrounding reality. That all that holds us in this reality is the illusion of self, and our belief in our limitations (physicality, capabilities etc) and the nature of the reality we inhabit. That with full realisation comes the transcendence of this, and hence the ability to not be limited in this way. There's a famous story of one of the old Tibetan masters riding up to a house on a horse, and absent mindedly sticking his whip in a rock and looping the horse's reins over it. And that's only bending the physical, it actually confers ability to access and function in the physical, afterlife and absolute as required. Buddhism does not talk a lot about or emphasise the Siddhis or apparently miraculous powers that come with realisation because striving after them can become (a) an unhealthy obsession and (b) and more relevant for most a barrier to progress towards realisation - because this ultimately requires dropping all grasping.... |

Kardec:
I agree that we need to work on ourselves while here. However, many near death experiences, my own experiences, and some out of body experiences have found that things "do" improve significantly when we move onto the afterlife. The key is to have our awareness pointed in the right direction. |

A fish in bottle of water would fell much better than if it was in a bottle of vine. but it would still be a fish. I was talking about changing from a fish into an enlightened fish. hehehe ;) |

Hi Kardec-
I've been missing you. I agree fully. Reality is ultimately in the eye of the beholder - with or without any specific form etc. Perhaps the return to the spiritual unity of our origin is the greatest of all dis-embodiments. Remove both bottles, put fish in ocean. Somehow anchovy flavored wine comes to mind - Ugh! dave |

Greetings again and back at you, Kardec,
While you were away becoming more enlightened, the world (at least through these threads) has become alot smaller, because those who post here are from many more countries now. Even those who start out geographically closer to Bruce have been moving out further, for ex.: Alysia to the West Coast and OutofBody Dude to Brazil or Argentina. Perhaps you and Dude will meet, here or there; he's quite the explorer also. It's good th hear your voice again. Bets |

I AM really with you, Kardek.
I have begun to think of Focus 27 as an advancced belief system territory geared to reincarnation over and over and over and.... I am interested much more in the alternatives to the merry-go-round. I want to uneat The Apple. Undream The Dream. Seize the Emitter! I agree, but also know that if all one of us can actually do that, "we" would all disapper like the Dream we are, back in to the Unity of Source from which we never left in the first place. While I do not think the solution to The Dream is within The Dream or just a Different Dream, I believe we can create a more loving dream at the very least. We is The Dreamer (excuse my English, but it is what I mean to say). Thomas |

Kardec:
As opposed to waiting until after death in order to obtain perfection, my spirit guidance encourages me very strongly to do so as soon as possible. It keeps telling me to have faith in Christ and to open up to love. Kardec wrote on Jul 11th, 2007 at 9:17pm:

i will have to disagree with you kardec.. every book detailing people who die and experience the afterlife mentions the overwhelming peace and love these people feel. this means that they must feel much MORE peace and love than they felt on earth. that means that even though they couldn't create that peace and love within their own mind/heart on earth, they were not denied it in the afterlife. it seems to me heaven will always be a better place than earth, no matter how at peace you are on earth. because no matter how at peace you are on earth, you must deal with earthly/human hardships and traumas. (even if you don't consciously notice these hardships, they still affect you). that's not to say you shouldn't try to have as much peace and love on earth as you can, and try to make it as much like heaven as you can.

welcome Seeker and all, I'm glad to see this place has 5,000 registered now, lol, good thing we don't all post at once! that would be a fun crash huh?
Actually just reading everyone again here and came to the conclusion everyone is right! there certainly is more PUL on the other side once you transition, I'd hazard a guess for up to 80 percent of folks? just a guess. thinking about it some why this seems to be true. The times I've gone out of body, or meditating, or getting flashes, I've noticed the NDE stories are also saying the same thing as a commonality according to each's vocabulary and beliefs. my guide is a religious fellow (nonphysical) he speaks of grace to mean that grace is available within PUL. like the sun shines on the just and the unjust. people like to argue when he gets to talking. :) seriously, he says forgiveness leads us to grace, here or there. so I understand Recoverer, being told to focus on love, I'm instructed the same get love in all your getting. see, what Kardec is saying to my perception is totally positive also and correct...we as new agers, (ooouuu) :) we can fall into the same trap as any other belief system or religion..we can be like donkeys to follow the carrot in front of our nose..its just human nature to want bigger, better, more shiney, more money, more power, more happiness and so on etc. but when you take all our ambitions on earth and squash them together, what is desired in the end is peace of mind that passes understanding. and I think all religions would at the least agree, we want peace. so Kardec is saying he came to a big revelation that he is one who does bring heaven to earth, through his mind and heart. and that entails a lot of hard scrutiny of self, to be able to jot that down, and also project it out into the universe. really you guys, the two dimensions are fast sliding into one another. i am very happy to be living in these times, my last incarnation that will be foisted upon me, next time, I will have more say so if I choose to come back. :) and now, back to bringing peace to earth!! haha! hey, somebodys gotta do it! if anybody thinks I'm too happy [smiley=vrolijk_26.gif] cool! just write me off as a new age commercial..really, I don't mind! ascension is now. love, alysia |

No such thing as too happy Alysia! Shine as bright as you like.
For me, one of the most important lessons that I have learned to date is that nothing is set in stone- either here or there. I believe in the absolute of free will as it is here and extends to there. What freedom that brings! Escaping the chains of limited thinking...limited= 1 heaven and 1 hell...limitless= No Time and all of the concepts I am only beginning to grasp...I cherish each day as I learn more about myself, who I am and who I want to become. I used to want to rush and catch up to others that could do things I couldn't- travel astrally, speak to spirit guides etc. Now I am just enjoying the simple pleasure of becoming. Love to all, Michelle |

hi Michelle, u r saying "Now I am just enjoying the simple pleasure of becoming. "
this statement is a lot like I was trying to explain being in the now moment, as if that is all that we have. my philosophy is KISS. keep it simple silly, because so easy to make a path difficult to tread. why should life not be enjoyed? I like GP's book title "Eternal Life and how to Enjoy it." plug, plug... :) anyhoo..you go girl! please put up that picture of you I like so much where you are smiling and your face shines and you look like there's nothing you cannot do if you want to do it. there is free will and there is no coercion to do anything at all on the other side. from what I have fathomed to be doing retrievals, the first thing I was shown was to remind the retrievees of free will by just asking them if they want to go with me some other place. most times they did and the more difficult ones, they just needed to know they could come back to where they were right now if they didn't like the reception area, and thats more free will operating. its pretty cool this free will business. love, alysia |

Greetings Kardec,
Reading these posts again have cleared some blocks for me. Thank you so much! It happens from time to time with many posts here but yours have so consistently spoken to me in this way so that I've become abit 'superstitious' perhaps and consider you some type of angel, lol. Maybe I told you that before. While you were gone I slid back abit, or perhaps I was educating and healing myself, I'm not sure. Then when you returned and posted, I had a strange dream: I came out of house where I'd been for some time with some busy women, and a man was sitting right outside by the road, holding a child. The man wore a black fedora hat and his shirt was woven cotton in thin stripes of red, yellow, green, ..... (Later I decided he looked Tibetan, or he could have been native Brazillian.) He looked at me as though he was not pleased with me and then he left, the child still holding on to him. So I asked Guidance why the man was displeased and Guidance said it had to do with what road I chose. Having read this post, I said "I want to be on the road to the rainbow bridge!" And immediately I felt energy shifts within, then new currents of energy that arced from one side of the top of my head to the other--it bridged the two halves of the brain, and then a handle/tube grew up from the top of the bridge. (I've seen this form, of an arc with a spout off the middle top, in pottery by the Inca people and in Japanese ceramics.) Then I was dreaming again and I was walking up the spout and came out into a mountain meadow where I was greeted by a man in a robe, whom I kneeled too but he pulled me up again, and then many other people came and we were all happy to see each other! This seems significant for me and I just wanted to thank you! Thank you, Kardec! Bets |

Bet
Sorry it had taken me so long to answer....I’d been through some professional issues here. I’m feeling really alone these days…It’s why I’ve decided to post this thread. I was wondering how important this life time is. Even if people in the spiritual plan at my “arrival” give me love and care, even if the atmosphere is bright and full of PUL, If my hearth is not ok here, it will also be this way there (at a very beautiful environment). So I posted it because I’d like to be able to make friends and to understand people, to thrust them and love them NOW! Passing to another dimension makes things easier… maybe… but doesn’t erases the problems (the non physical ones). So I’m really happy that my words mean something to you. I’m happy that you realized that you really deserve “to be on the road to the rainbow bridge” because it will take you there. Love you be okey. |
