Title: New guy here Post by Muzac on Jun 11th, 2007 at 7:04am
Hey all. My name is David but you can just call me whatever you feel like since there are already two other Davids on the board. I just discovered Bruce Moen's site one day when I was up one night with looping thoughts and fears of violent premature death and I found everything I have seen so far interesting and I'd like to know more about traveling out of the body and astral projecting as well as many questions I have about the afterlife. I am a 22 year old autistic musician from California who is attending college as well. Just introducing myself for the time being.
peace David |

oh hi again! images.bravenet.com/common/images/smilies/wave.gif I'm a musician sort of too. I responded to you on another thread. I'm going to view you as not autistic, or I will view that you are healed and this may help to produce for you a feeling of completion and wholeness, that you can build on.
I'm not very good on the guitar. :) but I can sing some. as a musican, I believe once you bring a greater exploration into these areas we talk of here, you will benefit from what you've learned about music, about harmonies, discordant notes, etc. you may express emotions thru music, either here, or out there as in astral traveling. I found the use of hemi sync to balance both sides of the brain are a wonderful aid in exploring our universal consciousness, however, of late, I am using flute, new age instrumental music, generally not too upbeat, to produce a slightly altered state of awareness which seems more spacious in a feeling way, a sort of floaty feeling while being aware I'm still in my body. so hemi sync is a series of tones, similar to music, but without a driving beat to deal with. welcome to this friendly board, we are one of a kind and diversified population. you are admonished to believe nothing but test it out first, that you hear here! I'm always glad to see new people come in. If you get a chance, please read Monroe or Moen's books, or surf some of the free articles by clicking on Resources above. love, alysia |

Welcome to our board, Muzac. [smiley=vrolijk_26.gif] I can't play any music, but I sure can sing. Sang for many years in churchs. This is an excellent place to discuss death and the afterlife. Keep on reading, there's a lot of material here to help you.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I play guitar and bass and sing. I have often used music as a theraputic way of getting out all the emotions that are difficult to deal with. Its constructive and a lot of the youth out there enjoy it both for the tune and their ability to relate to the lyrics. I actually enjoy the thrill of playing in a heavy metal band but off stage I am often soft spoken and composed. Don't let the stage look scare you. ;D.
I just ordered Voyages into the Unknown because I started being interested in this kind of thing, it was proceeded by insomnia that occurred because I was having recurrent thoughts and fears about violent premature death. Right now I don't know how to astral project and I find that in every dream I have, rather than having any control, everything i say and do just seems to happen most of the time. Like playing a first person virtual reality movie, only sometimes the laws of physics dont make sense, or when I wake up I realize people I recognized as people I knew in the physical world had some slight variations on their appearances that I wasn't aware of until waking up. I've become interested in lucid dreaming as well. Peace -David |

As long as we're talking about music here, Muzak,
maybe I could throw in a mention of a book that's getting good reviews. You and spooky etc probably don't need it, but for those of us out in music nowhereland, I hope it will help. (Just ordered mine; will let you know. :) ) It's Kurt leland's "Music and the Soul: a Guide to Transcendantal Music Experiences" (something like that.) ----- Has anyone read it yet? What do you think of it? bets |
