Hi im new here. Very breif bio...

Have had about 12 OBE's since I began trying (about 6 months ago) most were early on and quite amazing. I have a history of sleep paralysis.

I am keen on getting out of body , phasing, lucid dreaming any means of exploring the astral and RTZ. I have read a bunch of books on the subject.

Now my question is ...in Afterlife knowledge Bruce says you just have to ask for helpers and eventually they will help you enter the astral more easily than OBE's etc. which he said he struggled with for 6 years.

Any experiences with helpers or guides?

yes, just ask. I've had numerous examples of being answered so I had to write a book. I'd say curiosity, willingness to learn, persistance, setting intention, reading, meditating, opening your heart to a universal and humanitarian love, I'd say all these things are important when asking to recieve guidance, guides, or helpers.

The path is a lifestyle rather than fast results, but about six years ago I asked a question why helpers would come to a person. I checked my wallet to see if I could pay them,but they dont want to be paid. as soon as I asked for a practical and spiritual cause both (I needed a bunch of answers) a helper showed up about three times until I had the answers.

someday you can get the answers without going obe, but just let them come to you and bless with gratitude that you can do this. thats how they get paid back, with gratitude.

It's just as Bruce said. Sincerely ask for a Guide and one will appear. There's no shortage of willing candidates. You might also ask that the Guide should make itself known to you when it arrives.

While you're OBE'ing around, you might find a suitable guide hanging out in a church, temple or synagogue, depending upon what flavor you prefer. (Or try other emotionally charged monuments if you want a different type.) Then just ask.

Guides get paid by their own good karma, plus the pleasure of being helpful.  If it costs anything else, that's the wrong one to accept.
