Hey,
Just received TMI bulletin announcing, among other things, Ronald Russell's (the Whole Brain) new book, The Journey of Rober Monroe-from Out-of Body Explorer to Consciousness Pioneer. You can pre-order a copy $24,95 + shipping by calling TMI @ 1-800-541-2488. Laurie's memorial service will be at TMI Saturday April 14 at 2pm. Do we try to meet there or what? Or we could do 1-3 mins. to Thank her & wish her well on her journey 'cause she done GOOD! :-* What do you guys think? This week I actually met someone I work with that is interested in learning more about Moen/Monroe. Hope I didn't scare her by loading her down with too much information. I tend to do that with things I'm passionate about. Saturday, just for the heck of it, clicked on TMI on Bruce's main page to see what they were up to. I read the poem contributed by Skip Atwater, new president/exec dir. TMI, in honer of RAM. It all started with a calf-you might like to check it out. Love, Jean :-* |

I'll be sure to mark April 14th on my calendar Jean..a few minutes in meditation will add to her well being I'm sure, and she did good.
I'm currently re-reading Out of body Journeys, I mean journeys out of body, Monroes first book, is reading like a journal and fascinating to do my comparison thing with it. but nice to know theres more reading out there..probably a synopsis of him. hmm, it all started with a calf? have to go check that out! thanks, alysia |

Alysia,
Ordered your book yesterday and I'll let you know as soon as it arrives. I've been reading your stuff on the blog just to stay in touch. Still can't do a picture for the site, till I get together with my sons in April. I'll bring my laptop to the wedding so they can download something. Please don't worry about responces since you've experienced all possibles on this site and some have been pretty personal. Funny? how Dave brought up 7/05 thread again. Just printed out the D/O in America list from Bob to share with Mac. We both got a kick out of it. Laurie will be in my thoughts April 14th as I'm sure she will be in all those who have been involved in TMI since RAM left. I'm kind of lost today now that I took a break from work Just don't know what to do about that job? Must have some unfinished business still to do there. Still, I do get weekly perks in spit of the truckload of lemons* being dumped on me daily. Love, Jean :-* *Once upon a time my motto was, "When life gives you lemons-Make Lemonade!" But then I shared this motto with a Jungarian therapist my first husband & I were in therapy with and she asked me, "What if a truckload of lemons is dumped on you?" It was only by hindsite I was able to get her drift-long after I'd left town. Now I just keep asking for help and am grateful for the daily perks that fall between the dropping lemons at work ::) :-X :-/ :-*. J |

Hi everyone---Jean, I can't figure out what you're talking about. What/where did you click to see this poem??? I'm gonna feel really stupid if it's really obvious and I should have known, but I've been under a lot of stress lately so that's my excuse. ::) PS--Good idea for meeting at the memorial. Will be a good reason to practice, for me anyway. |

Hey Dear Vicky,
I was so stressed out by work last week that I just wanted to ride along with whatever I could get from this site for comfort so I clicked on The Monroe Institute link Bruce has over his picture on the Home page then clicked >TMI Voyages on the Right side of TMI scre>Personal Stories>A message from Skip>The Calf Path poem. I enjoyed the visual perspective it gave me. Also this week seemed to have alot of Monroe input for me, fellow friend and co-worker wanted more info after I gave her a copy of Bruce's Ok. City retreivals, I got a Bulletin from the Monroe Institute, and I found the Calf poem. Also I got pulled back to Monroe's rote in responding to a post done 3/18. You know the one first mentioned in Ultimate Journey stating, "There is no...There is no...There is only..."which I continue to contemplate. I read every post you write and like the way you think and express. So glad I got a chance to say so. Love, Jean :-* |

Thank you for the details...I'll go check it out!
And thanks so much for your kind words. They mean a lot to me, (and not just because I'm a pushover for compliments! ;)) I really needed the boost, so thank you from the bottom of my heart. :-* |

Good idea Jean. Everyone who feels like could try to add some nice energy to make it a happening from which people leave again uplifted. Spooky |

Hi Vicky, Rob, & Spooky,
Just got on the board-it was a heck of a work week-but always some miracles in the form of connecting with people. Just like here, can't really plan much, you just respond with kindness-it's easy with you guys. Just caught Bob's tale with the children. Loved it! Yes, I do want to do something special on Laurie's day to kind of up life us all. Love. Jean :-* |

Hi Jean! I like your typo "up life". As far as typos go, that's a good one. We should all start using it and make it catch on like wild fire.
My life's definitely been down lately--I could certainly use some up life! :) |

Vicky,
Yeah up life! I took Monday off then Tuesday was really nasty with a superiors attitude :P. I had to walk away and remember that tomorrows another day. Meanwile I was kick'n A.. with the actual job-helping people right and left it was that way all week. Meanwhile this afternoon, I was just going thru the ALK posts because I was left with a bad task with some of Mondays stuff-you know same old same old yadda yadda... to bait. But what bothers me is the funny feeling in get in the gut which tells me-or signals to me some kind of pain behind the words-and into the intention of the author. Good exercise in learning about Bruce's little finger exercise re: intention. I'm saving ACIM post by Alysia for last because I like to play a game with my ACIM cards. I'm sitting here with them in front of me-unopened. What I like to do is pose a question like-"What's going on with the board this week" or "What attitude is most helpful for me to take regaring upsetting/negative intpreted post?" or deeper qestions. Then I pick ACIM card before I bring up the ACIM thread or after I read a particular post. I'm going over there now, read Alysia's thread, then pick a card and post it and hope it's helpful. Love talking to you-I really need to be connected, Thanks, Love, Jean :-* |
