I used to think like you. Ask anybody who has been at this forum for a while and saw how I used to be.

One day I was going for walk and I said I don't want to do anything to misrepresent Jesus. The words came through my mind really strong: "You already have." I ignored them and continued to think along the same lines, and once again the words went through my mind really strong: "You already have."

It isn't a matter of my being punished by a rathful being. It is a matter of giving respect where it is deserved. I'm almost 49 and have found that throughout my life I have been wrong about many things I thought I was right about. Don't be surprised if you find the same some day.

Yeah I realise that I may very well be wrong about things I believe to be true at this moment. Hell, I recently found out I was wrong about certain "truths" I believed just last month. My beliefs and ideas about our existance and everything about it are constantly changing with every new experience, every new book, and every new concept I come across. This does not mean I believe everything I read, but I certainly keep everything in mind in the formulation my belief system. And yes, it is probably best to not have a limiting belief system, therefore mine is one that allows new ideas which make sense to flow in and ones which may not be as logical to flow out. The only things which have a strong foundation are the things I have experienced personally.
