Title: How do you know that hell is not eternal?? Post by DaBears on Mar 1st, 2007 at 7:39pm
I am still going through belief system crash about hell.. Yes, I see lots of good evidence supporting hell is only temporary and an illusion made up from ones subconscious mind etc..
But that you get those near death experiences that put hell back into controversy about being eternal or not.. I have read a couple of near death experiences where people come away thinking that hell is eternal?? What do you guys have to say?? Please help me ease my mind.. |

Hi DB-
I've done literally hundreds of past life sessions in which people have talked about all manner of hassles, but never a "real hell" in the classical sense. One woman recalled hanging on a dungeon wall being slowly starved to death. She became upset and left her body and, appropriatly, went toward what she thought was hell. It turned out to be a state in whcih lots of souls were denying everything except themselves, and refusing to acept love, or assistance, or even the idea that these might be available from a totally loving God. In fact, they all denied God. They were totally stuck and filled with self-righteousness. She was totally repulsed by this, and withdrew. She said, "I was happy to be back to my nice comfortable dungeon wall." Occasionally, someone remarks abou losing abilities of various sorts due to karma that more orless cancels out what were intended to be the benefits of their bad actions. It isn't exactly like having them burned out or torn off, but the idea of ill gotten gains consigned to the fires of the trash heap makes a good parallel with those ideas. That's as close as I've been able to come. Seems that hell is a state of mind into which we fall due to pride - remarkably like the Bible suggests - It thus seems to be a state that we enter by our own desire, but nobody has to stay there any longer than they desire. dave |

Even if you refer to the Bible, I've read that the original version didn't include eternal damnation language. The word "eon" was used in earlier translations, which means 100 years. It wasn't until a council in the 4th century that eternal damnation language was added.
A number of sources that seem to be trustworthy state that people don't end up in hell like realms because they get condemned. Their overall state of mind leads them to such a state. Once they've had enough they receive help from light beings. Sources include Bruce Moen, Rosalind Mcknight's books and the near death experiences of Howard Storm, George Ritchie and others. Going by my numerous retrievel experiences, this is true. I don't believe that there is actually a place called hell. Just realms that lack happiness, love and light, because this is what such realms inhabitants have created for themselves. Some spirits suffer alone, some get energetically attracted to a realm with a similar vibrational rate. I really looked into my heart on this matter quite a bit, and there is no way that God and other beings of love and light are beings that look to punish people. They are way to wise and loving to do such a thing. |

George:
I printed the below, got my magnifying glass and read it very closely, and you're right. :) It's interesting how much can be said with one sentence some times. george stone wrote on Mar 1st, 2007 at 8:30pm:

Dabears,
I have been to many hellish realms, on the Earthplane, and about as low as you could get. I have been to some really bad places, but I have never encountered, the fire and brimstone, satan ,or the devil, and have not seen any place of eternal punishment, that the orthodox Churches teach. While the hells are a place of substance, as much as they are a place of condition, so are the heavens. These heavens and hells have all been created by the thoughts of physically alive humans that have made the transitition to the astral worlds of our after life, and since the beginning of time these places have taken on a material substance of their own. The hellish realms that I have entered, were because I got caught up in someone's thought based created reality, either while doing a retrieval, or just exploring, there is something about the magnetic pull need, that leads one to these souls. Souls in need of a rescue identify with the vibration that those still physically haveing a body, that are attracted to, magneticly drawing you into their reality. Now, as our thoughts at the time of the Earth term called death, leave with us, so do our beliefs, whether they be of Hell, the Devil, or believe that we will just go into the grave and enter into an eternal sleep until the judgement day, and the great celestiel trumpet sounds. The beliefs of these spirits that have this orthodox belief, will find themselves in a perpetual sleep. By far the athiest that expects nothing, will be more open to the afterlife that awaits them, after some of them have awakend after a short sleep. All in all, every type of spirit will be awakened and guided by bright spirits to the Park(reception station, spirit hospital, great meeting place, in focus 27), those with thoughts that have to be broken, before they can move on, although some have such a great attachment, that they go right back to their previous condition, only to be rescued again, and again , until they are completely convinced, aclimated, and free from all their previous beliefs. So the best ting that I can recomend to you or anyone, that is to think thoughts of beauty, love, and an Life hereafter that will be grander than anyone can imagine. If you can go out of body, or focus you awareness, as in Bruce's Home Study Course, leave with good thoughts, and PUL in your heart and soul, and you will never encounter these things, unless that is what you wish. This applies also for those that will be leaving this Earth Life soon. By the beliefs and thoughts of our mind state, are what creates what we experience. Also the condition of ones soul determines his place and status in the afterlife, as we are born, our soul is a blank slate, as we live and experience, good or bad, is etched thereon. And all can ascend from a lower condition, there is no eternal damnation. Forgetfulness, is forgivness. Dimensionally Yours, Rick ricktimet |

Thank you everyone for helping me out! :) I have just read up on the holographic universe and all that it talks about is what you guys have been saying.. Heavens & Hells are Illusions Mind-Created in Time
Heavens and hells are nothing more than temporal ILLUSIONS in the astral planes, created by the mind of man throughout the Four Cycles of Time. Just as the worlds (LOKAS) of the gods (DEVAS) and extra-terrestrials are locked in their own durations of time, and have a Beginning and an End, these heaven and hell holographic matrices are temporal and not eternal. God never created hell.. hell, n. [ME, helle; AS, hell, hell, from helan, to cover, conceal.]” Hell really means to hide or cover! In the anglo saxon era... People misused the word hell big time!! Thanks again!!! :) |

DaBears,
What a privilege this is to be one of the first to congratulate you on your HUGE VICTORY!!! If I could figure out how to work all these bells and whistles on my computer I would be sending you streamers and confetti. Keep drinking in all the new information, you may find new meaning in everything you experience. Keep yourself open to new opportunity. If ever doubt starts to creep back in just reaffirm what you know now, that's how I handle it anyway. Oh, and ask questions, you may be amazed at what come through. All the best to you, Stacy |
