Title: One thing that trips me out about the afterlife..
Post by DaBears on Feb 24th, 2007 at 6:05pm
I read up on one near death experience where a person who didn't believe in hell or satan.. Was met by this entity and hell... What is the grounds for this??? It blows my mind...

Sorry, for all the questions about the afterlife.. It's just I have an obsessive compulsive disorder.. And lately I've been fascinated by the afterlife the past 8 months... I have studied up on it for about 5 months now though...

DaBear:

Consider this: most people who claim not have a belief in either or have created a belief. How to you not believe is something that does not exists?

We all carry some beliefs about the afterlife, good or bad. I do not mind questions. From the posts that you have listed thus far, I am wondering if you want a type of reassurance about the afterlife. What I am receiving now suggests that you are at a crossroads in your life and that you are afraid of making a decision, because you are fearful that if it is the wrong decision you will suffer for it. To deal with any belief of the afterlife, you must first acknowledge and understand those that you already have surrounded yourself with at the present time. You will always find a mixture of similiarities and contradictions regardless of the question or topic. What about NDEs who have the most positive experiences without having any, as you suggest, belief. In my experience, I have often drawn to myself experiences that help to reinforce my own belief, my own fear of something and thus found a way out of having to deal with it. The ego does not like to give up control in my experience, but would rather keep us bound to the physical where it has the most influence.

Others here, more well versed in such matters as the concepts of heaven and hell as created through various paths, can offer more EXPERIENCES that will provide you tools. I am confident that all experiences will be treated with respect for what they are: unique experiences, neither right nor wrong.

I know the whole belief system idea is very popular, and I'm sure it does hold ground out there in the afterlife.  However, I believe what is more of a factor when it comes to where you will go directly after you die, and along your path afterwards as well, is not so much your beliefs, but instead your vibrations.  Your energetic vibrations, the stuff that your soul or essense consists of, is basically vibrating at a certain frequency.  The more love you have for yourself and others, the higher your vibrations will be.  Likewise, the greater your lack of love is, the lower your vibrations will be.  This will determine whether you raise to a plane of high vibrations when you die or sink to a level of low vibrations, for it seems we are natrually attracted to levels of equal vibrations.  So it seems as if this person mentioned had some low vibrations and was attracted to the level which resonated with his vibes.

DaBears,

I haven't had a chance to read all of your post yet, but I get the general idea that you have some fears, as do we all at one point or another in our lives so don't feel alone there.

Have you taken any steps to explore the afterlife yourself? This could be the best way to clear up any issues you have at hand. We could all tell you what we think, but I think you may need to discover this for yourself. At least consider the possibility. With the proper steps you could banish all your own fears and know it to me true. What a beautiful gift to give to yourself!

The fact that you are here and asking questions says (to me anyway) that you are ready, or almost ready to explore for yourself. Think of the possibilities and let your curiosity grow.

Happy Trails, PUL, Stacy

Thank you all for your help and explaining this stuff to me!  I am very curious about the afterlife. I want to explore it as well now in this time. I just need to man up and not be afraid to explore the afterlife.. I don't know how to have an obe, so I know the best way to know how to do this is to learn from Bruce..

Yes, Bruce.  Robert Bruce, that is.  While Bruce Moen is an excellent teacher for exploring the afterlife, Robert Bruce is number one when it comes to out of body experiences.  He even blows Robert Monroe out of the water as far as understanding the technicalities of OBEs and what works and what doesn't.  Pick up Astral Dynamics, you'll be having OBEs before you finish reading the book.

Alright, I will check out his books and Astral Dynamics! Is it easy to have an OBE??

Everyone developes their abilities to project at different rates.  For me, yes it was easy.  3 tries and I was out and about.  However, some people have been trying for over a year and still have no luck getting out.  This is usually because they are missing at least one crucial step to conscious exit.  So to answer your question, it is easy to leave your body if you completely understand and are able to satisfy all the criteria for conscious projection.

Robert Bruce also has another book even more focused on learning to have OOB experiences: Mastering Astral Projection.  It includes a CD and also settings for using the shareware program Brainwave Generator -- which makes binaural beats similar to (but not as sophisticated as) Hemi-Sync.
