Title: How many life times?
Post by george stone on Feb 4th, 2007 at 4:03pm
How maney life times have we had?In order to reach the hightest leval,It is a shore bet that God knows how maney we will need. Now lets talk about time. Some people who have died say they go to the light, and are told to go back because its not there time. This is strange to me.I have read about a pope, who was so much pain that he prayed to god to take him.God appared to him and told him that it was not yet his time,My question is,why does a person have to wait?My opinion is they must wait for the next parents they will be with in the next life here on earth.I believe all our life times are all maped out for us.George

Hi George, hope you well  :)

The way I see it according to Astrology - although i haven't come across any writings confirming this but bits and pieces of information here and there - so what I'm doing here is tying it in and maybe AhSo might like to add;

If we look at the Circle of Life - the Astrology wheel consisting of 12 x 30 degree parts in a 360 degree circle - the 30 degrees (the mansions that is Aries, Taurus, Gemini etc) are split up further into 7.5 degrees.  Each 30 degree is split into 3 parts with two cusps on either side equalling 3 and two half parts per 30 degrees.  These are called Decans.

If we look at Aries which starts at 0 degree:  Pisces/Aries cusp is Rebirth (1st Decan) 2nd Decan is Child, 3rd Decan Star, 4th Decan Pioneer, 5th Decan Aries/Taurus cusp is Power.

I think we each go through each Decan within each Zodiac sign.  That is we experience all the Decans of Aries before we move onto Taurus.

All the Decans add up to 48.  With this though I am not sure if we do go in exact order through the wheel; sometimes we might need something in a different Decan to complete another Decan - but I'm guessing and it may be it is in order of the Circle.

Also, I do think within each Decan there are different dimensions of perception and energy levels, the above Decan names are standard and other names are associated with the Decans and also the degree in the Decan (the degree could be the dimensions)

It is interesting to bring in time and space into the Circle.  As written before time and space are the same - nothing goes away its either very close or very far.  This is brinking on what AhSo is talking about in his post 'holistic ..' and this sounds like parallel universes.

George i am convinced God in His infinite wisdom created the Zodiac (I always think of it as God's Astrology lore within His Law) for us to experience life, in a guided free-willed order, so we may become better people and thus attain higher levels.

I am very cautious of what God says in the Bible about astrology.  I do think any sorcery, done behind God's back although God can see right through it, is despised by God.  There is only One God and nothing is done without him.
I do fear and love God with all my heart, and astrology has been a ponder with me for years but i have always received positive feelings in my astrology which is Christian based.  For everything is Christ the Logos the Word.

Well, George my thoughts ... they might not be other peoples thoughts though.

Caryn.

This is a topic I've struggled to find much consensus on. I guess we may have many life times but not just on earth, in other worlds and realms, and we have eternity so how much we limit our experience is up to us? I believe we are in a free willed universe so noone is forcing you to live all these lives, you choose to experience them for your own soul growth.

HI George-
I lost my Mother in Law to cancer a few years back, and now a dear friend is going through chemo and radiation - So your question has a personal meaning for me.

As far as I can understand it, we have a range of experiences that we more or less choose when we "select" (via karmic attachments) what we'll do in the next life. It seems that the manner of death and the inconvenience of it all are part of it. While this seems a bit harsh to us who are in the process, in the greater view, it is through these experiences that we are able to feel empathy and compassion for others. As for whether "God is ready for us", perhaps the inverse alternative would be a more useful question, whether we are simply trying to escape, or whether we are ready for God. - This becomes more meaningful when we look at it in terms of participation in divinity in the Light to the degree that we are able.
