Last nights was horrific.  I was so scared in this dream that I started screaming, "Dad, help me!" over and over again.  Something evil and horrible was chasing me.  I was in complete blackness, couldn't see anything but I knew something nasty and defile was near.   As I was screaming wildly for him things were totally crazy, like a camera was going round and round me crazily.

And then I wasn't scared anymore and Poof, the dream was over.  I'd love to know what the horrible thing was that was coming for me.  I know for a fact that some other things happened but I cannot recall that part.  :(

Uh, I should mention that I watched The Amityville Horror last night.   ::)

Do you recall thinking during the film, "Oh I wonder what it would be like if that happened to me?'  or "I don't think I'd be so fearful as she was."  In other words did you enter into the plot?  Pretty hard not to since it's  enter- tainment.  ;)

So maybe you sort of invited yourself to go through some of those filmed experiences. Now you've tried it and found you don't like it, so now you could say 'Well I don't want to go throught THAT again!' and your intent will be reset.
You gave yourself a double feature filming ; hope you had plenty of popcorn!

I've found that my divine guidance uses my dreams to communicate with me.  I believe that it is very possible that your guidance was showing you through a dream that you don't have anything to worry about because if you did, something negative would've resulted from the dream you had.

It is also possible that your guidance was telling you that if you watch horrific things, you're going to fill your memory banks with horrific thought patterns. These thought patterns will act according to their very limited way of thinking, and could provide you with something to deal with at some time.

In time, Ronald DeFeo’s attorney, William Weber, told how the Lutzes had come to him after leaving the house, and he had told them their “experiences” could be useful to him in preparing a book. “We created this horror story over many bottles of wine that George Lutz was drinking,” Weber told the Associated Press. “We were creating something the public wanted to hear about.” Weber later filed a two-million-dollar lawsuit against the couple, charging them with reneging on their book deal. The Cromartys also sued the Lutzes, Anson, and the publishers, maintaining that the fraudulent haunting claims had resulted in sightseers destroying any privacy they might have had. During the trials the Lutzes admitted that virtually everything in The Amityville Horror was pure fiction (Nickell 1995; Kaplan and Kaplan 1995).

No - I had no idea it was a hoax.  Like many others, I thought it was a true story.  Well, I should say that I knew the DeFeo story was true, not specifically the story of the Lutz's.  It's great to know that now!  Whew!  :D  I'll check out the link you gave down there in just a second.

I'm glad you saw the humor in my last line - I was trying to be lighthearted.  I'm really the class clown- I'm never really very serious all the time.  ;D  

I don't recall thinking What Would I Do as I watched the movie, but I do remember thinking what a jerk he was when he started acting oddly.

I'll reset my intent as you suggested.
