In one of Monroes books, I forget which one exactly... he said that when he was a child he remembers he was in bed and felt a feeling of extreme extacy and love, it was such a remarkable and intense feeling that it hurt as much as it felt good. He said he remembered this feeling, it was the feeling of the love that he felt when he was Home, before he came to earth.  After reading this, it struck a match and I immediately recalled something from my early childhood.  I had at least 2 dreams in which I would feel this insanely strong energy sensation it was almost unbearable, part of me loved it but part of me hated it. The feelings occured during the dream, but they werent just felt with the dream senses, it rippled through my body. I was thinkin that maybe there was a chance the feeling he felt was a similar thing to what i felt. I could be wrong, but the experiences are so similar n it makes me happy to think that maybe the feeling originated from somewhere else..

It was in Bruce's first book OBD, "Voyages into the Unknown." Bruce was like six years old and have this recurring dream. He said he was in bed with a woman and felt this kind of feelings that as a six year old he could have never experienced, and suddenly the door opened and a big men stood there looking at the scene, etc... I think he was talking about the possibility of reincarnation. If I am wrong, please forgive me; it is what I am understood when I read the book.

Ohh well I have never read any of Bruces books,(Im buying them at xmas time!) but he probably experienced a similar thing, from the sounds of what you quoted. I think Robert Monroe described it in his book Far Journeys.

I too recall such a feeling as you described, OOBD, so intense it burns. Is it the burning part what makes you feel that it hated part of you? Could it also be the intensity hurt as it cleared out/burnt the parts that were unworthy of you/ It? That it prepared you for your spiritual journey by getting rid of stuff tht would slow you down?
I see it now as a blessing, an initiation in fire, but an initiation anyway. Congratulations!
Spooky once reported an inner fire like you describe, but then I didn't relate it to what you're saying (or I think you're saying.) Maybe he'll have something to say about yours now.  Sometimes just a slight change of wording makes for an insight---thanks, OOBD!

My feeling was in fact localized in the area of the lower chakras. Before knowing about chakras I used to say that I felt it around my butt lol. But why is it significant that it is felt in the lower chakras?

hey its a miracle to feel anything on any part of the body as far as I'm concerned, lol. don't worry Dude..I think your explorations are very spiritual, and there are 7 major chakras, you really can't favor one over another, they all should be spinning in unison when you get ready for ascension time, probably in 50 years more or less.  I've had some strange similar experiences reported here. starting to feel an urge to return home, gets a little intense..sorta like Dude's tag, "theres nothing here for me...." although I'm not depressed or anything like that..

insofar as one adventure Bruce had with the chakra spinning in the first chakra where sexual activity is felt, he was instructed to lift that energy into the heart. i think thats a very good idea. :)

I have felt this feeling of "Home" before... I think that we all have at one time or another, maybe just not always remembered. It is very fleeting at times. It's a feeling that is definitely beyond the scope of this world. It pulls at the heart strings of purified unconditional love and emanates ethereal *magic at its core. A feeling so powerful it hurts, and in the most longing way.

yes nice avatar, a spiral  of energy movement which a dna strand resembles.

one of the reasons I like astral travel is the sense of freedom once out there.
actually a lot like some of the feelings expressed on this thread, add to that a sense of majesty and a knowing that all this mundane c1 has a purpose so huge and grand and once out there floating along, that magical is the only way to express it, so who said that? lol. CA , thanks. perfect word for the feeling I had once of walking on a beach astrally. and a few other times. it is more like my real home.

but we're in a movie guys, I keep telling you we're actors here and I'm sure nobody's listening...lol....thats ok, both realities appear to be extentions of the other and we're back to the mirrors of the mind reflecting images. you know the secret of those on stage don't you? they can be whomever role they are playing and the really good actors can start refusing the pissy roles :)  because they don't have to sell out anymore. :-*

I've never walked on an astral beach before Chuckles, at least not that I can remember. I can only imagine how surreal that must have been. I love the beaches we have here on Earth. What sort of colors did you experience there? -- What were the various elements like (e.g. water/sand/sky)?
