Title: "Matrix" thing plugs HOMOSEXUALITY..? Post by Chumley on Dec 6th, 2006 at 4:58am
I guess I didn't read enough of the website "OutofbodyDude"
posted for our collective edification... You have to participate in GAY SEX to become "spiritually advanced???" (According to "Matrix V" or whatever it is supposedly called.) Hoo, boy. I knew that "spirituality" (whatever that is) requires you to torture yourself and deny yourself pleasure (according to everything I've read) but now I'm supposed to engage in something as disgusting and vile as "getting it on" with another man? And I thought Christianity was bad. This one takes the freaking cake... Maybe the "Matrix" system refers to FEMALE homosexuality. That's a bit more understandable... but the male body is a LOATHSOME thing. I don't understand how WOMEN can get it on with a man, much less a MAN wanting to "get nasty" with another dude! (The more I think about it, the better and better MATERIALISM sounds, lemme tell ya... just let me die, and be cremated and my ashes scattered or bury me and let me rot in the ground and that's "all she wrote." Sleep forever, and please hold the dreams and the onions...) That is, unless I get cryonicized, or have my consciousness uploaded into a computer or what have you. B-man |

I think what hes saying is that once you become advanced enough to realize where you came from, what your purpose is, what things actually mean and how they work, you realize that genders don't mean a thing because what we really are is not based on genders, and maybe once you see this you are able to look past genders and see the person for who they really are. Chumley you sure love bashing people and ideas. Your attitude of things definatly reflects on what kind of person you are, and its not very complimenting...

You're being ridiculous, it's obvious your lack of common sense and down to earth knowledge is blocking you from any spiritual advancement you wish to achieve.
In other words, you might be too dumb for this kid. I, other wise, would not be so blunt, but when you compare Spirituality to christianity, which makes me cringe by the way, I find it my duty to put it in front of you so plainly. My duty, because most here are way too nice to do so. I envy them, of course. I let you go with that, "Oh, I took a crap, there must not be a god" thread, but this is too much, this is bigotry. |

Brendan,
First off, this guy's website is his own, and it smacks of a bit of arrogance to many. Second, I doubt anyone is advocating one form of sexuality, only that to be spiritually advanced is to know that our "essence" is thought and gender neutral. Thus, those who believe in reincarnation state that we go through many incarnations as both male and female. For me, I don't think that a lifestyle or sexual preference is a guarantee of anything spiritual - but to recognize that society and our hormonal makeup dictates our male/female roles and games, but that our true nature may have elements of both genders in it is to be somewhat enlightened. I also agree that attacking sexual preference, no matter how offensive it may seem to you, is not a good idea on a public website. M |

Homosexuality used to be considered a mental illness. Just like schizophrenia. (Notice how schizophrenia doesn't have a noisy advocacy population?) Also, notice how homosexuality has only been "socially acceptable" since the early 70's... Which is about the time American society started ROTTING in earnest. Interesting coincidence, huh? (And did you know, that there's good evidence Bush is into guys, too? More coincidence...) B-man |

Brendan, I took your first post of this thread here as a statement of your personal sexual preference, put in your style, which I find refreshing sometimes. But your second post goes way too far. You normally aren't the one who is an easy victim of conspiracy theories, are you? So and now you're telling gays are responsible for the society going downwards? On what kinda trip are you?

B is just trying to push people's buttons here. These kinds of posts are a way to draw people out and they actually cause everyone else to open up and express clear discomfort with expressions of thought which they know are flawed. He encourages debate on all sides of an issue by doing this. He is much more intelligent and rational than people give him credit for. There is a method to his madness which is very clear to me.
Gender expression is a complex issue which is not very well understood in sound bites. We all know that. So, B makes a stand in an obviously controversial position on a board such as this, as a way to draw out people's heartfelt reactions. This is, in a way, in the service of truth, although the method is one that is bound to draw disapproval. I think everyone has noticed that B-man does not react in a spiteful way to those who question his often outlandish statements, which are designed to provoke this response. He simply tries to take advantage of an arena in which he is free to express controversial views. He enjoys the debate which is often the outcome. He knows we all love him and that is why he is here. He also knows there is an ever-renewable source of new energy which moves constantly into this forum, so that he can continue in his own methodical investigation of belief systems and possibility -- on the sly, so to speak. At least, this is my take on things. love, blink |

Hiya Blink-
Yeah, I suspect that B-Man knows we love him, so he has to puit up a brave front to keep the macho thing going. Reminds me of when I was in the Air Force and they warned us not to dance with a Marine because they always want to lead. ;-) dave |

Spooky ****************** You're making a mountain out of a molehill here, Spooky. I don't consider gays THE reason for our rotting civilization. I consider, however, their noisy in-your-face activism (and "protected" status in our politically correct society) to be a minor symptom of our collective decline - sort of like the sneezing you get with the flu. Think about this. Could it be that the increase of violent behavior among young men might have some connection to homophobia? And maybe the homophobia wouldn't be there, if these boys weren't exposed to the whole idea of "gays" at an early age? Nowadays, boys know what a "gay" is when they are 5-6 years old. I didn't know about homosexuality until I was 13 years old! Why? Because IT WASN'T TALKED ABOUT BACK THEN IN A PUBLIC MANNER, LIKE IT IS TODAY - THANKS TO THE "GAY PRIDE" MOVEMENT. What if (horror of horrors!) I'm onto something here? (I know I've butchered a sacred cow here. I'm willing to suffer the consequences.) And now, we have a "spiritual guru" saying I have to "try it" to become "advanced" (and presumably avoid suffering after I die?) THAT'S going too far, my friend. B-man |

Hey Dave, easy there wingnut. You're still mad because Marines stole your girlfriends, which wasn't hard for them to do as busdriver uniforms and limp wrists just aren't very intimidating.
Made me come out of lurker status to defend my beloved Corps, dammit. Rob USMC 1991 - 2000 (ex-girlfriend stealer but usually from squids, not wingwipers). Ahhh, the good old days, before awareness and all that. BTW, *before you ask me*, I don't dance. :-) |

I thought the women were attracted to fly boys first. Top Gun and all... I also thought those Navy Seals were as tough as Marines. So this is an education for me. I thought Army grunts would have the least flash/effect on getting the babes. Marines - I'm not sure. Aren't they married to the core and their rifles?

This is how it goes when it comes to military toughness.
1. Army Recruiter (you try to be one these days). 2. Army Delta Force. 3. Navy Seals. 4. Air Force PJs 5. Army Rangers. 6. Army Special Forces 7. Marine Force Recon (They're so silent, they don't get a period) 8. Army Paratroopers. 9. Regular Marines. 10. Rest of the Army. 11. Rest of the Navy. 12. Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, and Boy Scouts. 13. Webelos. 14. The rest of the Air Force. I am "absolutely certain about the above. ;D |

No, Recoverer, your list isn't in the right order, objectively speaking, but better than most would be able to list.

Rob:
Okay, I'll move the Army Rangers and Special Forces a little higher, and drop Force Recon down a few notches. Just don't give Force Recon my name, okay. ;) Rob_Roy wrote on Dec 7th, 2006 at 7:22pm:

I always thought Catherine Bell (from JAG) looked better without dress blues. I like the shiney gold buckles. They remind me of something.
