This morning I was dreaming.. suddenly I was woken from the dream hearing a terrifying growling. I was on my bed, and I looked at the door and Knew the growling was coming from the other side. Then my door opened, and i knew the thing was coming for me. So I woke up again before I got a chance to see it, this time on my own will. However, upon awakening I felt a strange buzzing, an energy that is not usualy felt upon wakening. I was thinking, perhaps this entity was real, that I woke up but was not in C1 consiousness, and after forcing myself awake I still felt the energy from this thing because it was in faact real. What do you think???

I believe you're being prepared for another stage of development.  The growling is a test to see how you'll deal with fear--
  you can love it to diminish and change it,
  tell it you 'see it not there' to blank it out,
  growl back or laugh at it to proove your courage, etc.
There's alot written here (index) on how you can approach this test. When I came to this site a year ago I thought the bottom of the list made the most sense for me; it morphed the monster into cartoon form; now I'm generating PUL for any that come by and that startles them into dissolving. The ultimate goal, I believe, is to get them settled but present so you can communicate and find out what spirit underlies (?) that form and help transform it through PUL.

Regarding the buzzing in the second phase of that experience, IMO that's the sound of our own nervous systems as they phase down after the scare, just an inside job, a neuro-reaction.

Congratulations on receiving the test!  Must mean you're moving forward!  :)

I agree with Betson and LightR-on.

I've had numerous experiences with creepy things, and I believe that for the most part my higher self/guidance has been showing me that I don't have anything to worry about. Even if my higher self/guidance had nothing to do with what I've experienced, nothing bad has happened to me yet.  

Here's another point. When spirits communicate to people they often send people images of various kinds. This being the case, a negative minded spirit could send somebody a demonic image, with the hope of fooling a person into believing that they are actually seeing one. They could also use their energy to make themselves look like one. Whatever the case, God's light energy doesn't look something in particular until a spirit makes it look like something in particular.

Like LightsR-on, whenever I experience something negative I make a point of feeling love as best as I can. On some occasions I've told what I came in contact with that I'm committed to God and love, and there is nothing that can be done to change this. On a few occasions I've just laughed and said "what a ridiculous empty image."
