So I wake up from a dream this morning. A very important dream. In this dream someone is telling me somthing. Something very important. Something that has a vast amount of value. Somthing that can only be shared in a state of consiousness beyond the physical.

However, as I think about the dream, it becomes more and more vauge, the more I think of it. I knew that just five seconds ago, I was told somthing that might have changed my life. I know this because that is how I felt while it was being told to me. Waking up, i remembered this feeling. However, i totaly forgot what was said. It seems almost as if maybe its impossible to understand it in waking consiousness. But i want to know!!! How can I remember?????

This has happened before, waking up feeling like i was just informed a knowledge of great importance. But I can never, ever remember what it is. Any thoughts or ideas?

A member of another forum said that this had happened to him to, and soon after great changes came in his life. He said to expect some great things to happen, either in physical reality or in my perspecitve on things... With my new journeys with the Gateway Experience, I think he may be right.. I sure hope so!

Hi Out of body dude The way i remember dreams like these,is to always have a pen and paper beside your bed,as you can write your dream down,just try and think to yourself before you sleep that you will wake up in your dream and you will,because i do.

I dreamed of 4 premonitions the other night and becaused ive trained myself to wake up in dreams like this,i write them down. Hope this helps.

Juditha's method is practical, effective and will work for you if you use it.

However, for the stuff that seems to have slipped by, there is little to be done except to understand its nature. To explain, I'm gonna get wordy, but have patience.

Imagine a river. It flows from Here to There, and it has banks. The river is a dynamic system that responds to its circumstances without going through lots of thinking and internal discussion. It comes to a rock and pushes or dissolves or whatever, and just goes on. Then as the seasons change, different amounts of water come, a dry spell might pass, and so on. Each of those alters the flow, changing the banks and the channel. In this way, the river bed comes to be a sort of "physical memory" for the past events experienced by the river. This "physical memory actually contains a lot of information, and it directs the passage of the river accordingly, followig the ways of least resistance and greatest ease of flow, but without the need for the river to think about it or figure anything out.(Actually, I'd be interested in talking with a river spirit one day to check this out in person.)  

Now go back to your dream. This was a series of events through which your awareness has passed. Evidently your waking mind lacks the symbolic mechanisms to decode or store the information. On the other hand, it remains with you as part of the "river banks of experience" that channel your life. For you to acess this information it must have three aspects: (1) a process or dynamic, like the experience of presentation; (2) a substantive nature, the actual information content, often abstract in nature; (3) a relational nature through which the dynamic presents to you the substantive content in a manner that allows you to integrate it as part of your definition of self.

What you got was only one aspect - the dynamic experience. It's still there, a kink in the river banks, acting as a sort of abstract tendency toward realization, and it is slowly manifesting the substantive content by building relationships within your psyche. When this process completes, you'll have the entire message.

This is essentially the same manner of developing ideas that is used in growth oriented analytic psychotherapy, and is nothing especially new. It's the same process as when you hint to your SO that you'd like a little affection, and the process sort of regeneratively expands into making love without any specific planning. Viewed in that way, you've gotten a hint from the spirit world about something that will develop in its own good time. Like your friend said, it brings change, and as you observed, it seems to be important.

oh, I think you are in the right place and you are an interesting person. I have lots of ideas about what u and a lot of us are experiencing right now. your friend from the other forum I think gave you some good advice. you should expect to bring this secret knowledge into your conscious awareness soon. for one thing, your enthusiasm is catching!  as well an expectant mind is an opened mind. what is happening to you and all, is the shift in consciousness in underway, whereby the earth is being assisted with new energy to be able to shift into it more easily.  u are using Gateway as a tool, but any book can trigger an opening perspective as well to life changing information. if its working, u should keep using it.

the way to remember dreams or messages therein is to have a daily affirmation to remind yourself thats your intention.  many times we plug into knowledge, and we are left with only a strong feelilng and we don't know whether to trust our feelings.

yet the feeling itself is a communication to you from a more knowledgeable you, or from the guide/s assigned to you. feelings contain rotes. I can't emphasize this enough to pay attention to feelings and meditate on the feeling itself and see where it wants to lead you, into the mental areas.
I hope u know what a rote is. its described in Monroe and Bruces  books. your going to feel a little like a donkey chasing the carrot when and if you follow your feeling to the rote. however, the joy of discovery of who you are is the reward of self study.
for now, I salute your efforts and your communication to us about what you're doing. trust what you were given and then more is given when you are ready, and when you become a fearless explorer. love, alysia
