Title: Moen Vs. Monroe... who is better? Post by OutOfBodyDude on Nov 17th, 2006 at 5:05pm
This question is for everyone who has either done the Gateway Experience of Monroe, or attended a workshop or purhcased and used the CDs of Moen. Or both.
The question is, which do you find more beneficial. I have only done the Gateway Experience, I'm not even finished yet actually. I would like to know the way these two teachings differ. Why should I choose Moen over Monroe? or Monroe over Moen? I realize it would probably be best to do both, and they are probably quite different. I want to know how are they different. What makes Moens Afterlife Programs so special? What makes Monroes Gateway Programs so special? and most importantly, which one would win in a fight... Moen or Monroe??? (hahaha joke) |

That made me laugh.
So you have The Gateway Experience CDs? What did you think of them? I have them but haven't used them much and haven't had any success. But that's the only one's of his I've tried. I would suggest you either attend Bruce's workshop or get the Guidebook and CD's, and then attend TMI, and then you can decide for yourself. I'd love to go to TMI but cannot afford it right now. I'd love to go to one of Bruce's workshops just to have the experience of it, but there's never one close to me (even though Bruce and I live close by). One of these days I'll have to figure out how to round up some folks here to attend one. But even so, I've had great success using his Guidebook and CDs. I guess it depends on what you expect from either program and what you are trying to achieve. |

Hi oobDude,
I did the Gateway Voyage (though not in the U.S. but the same tapes and procedure) and Lifeline (at the institute). The GV I can say was very successful for me. In short, it taught me to get into a state where I experience what feels often similar to daydreams, but other contents and sometimes loaded with emotions and councelling, as well as meeting persons/helpers and such things. The clue was to learn to listen to it and not discard and forget it. Lifeline was good too, but I did retrievals before so I entered not new land with it. Bruce's Guidebook I read after Lifeline so I cannot say what had happened if I had used the Guidebook alone, without the TMI courses. The core thing is very similar to what TMI teaches, but Bruce's method doesn't require HemiSync tapes, instead one is supposed to rely on helpers who guide you where you want to go to. Also, the Guidebook has some extra hints and stories. Don't have the CDs, and I didn't participated in a seminar of Bruce so far. What seems important to me (which I've heard from others too) is the group factor, as well as the intensity a schedule brings with it, to have a time out of everyday's business, when you are in a program. It makes a difference I think; though it might not be necessary for going mind-journeying, if you are the type of person that has enough discipline to practise regularly on your own. Spooky |

I just downloaded Gateway a couple days ago, so I'm still working on the first wave that deals with focus ten. I can tell I'm improving, each time i listen to it it takes less and less time for me to go into focus ten, and I seem to get deeper each time. It takes me about an hour to get to that state without the cds, but it only takes about 15 minutes with them. Pretty good huh? I dont actucally have the cds, I downloaded the series onto my ipod. Gotta love technology these days. Anyway I'm doing journal entries for each of my attempts to post on an Astal Projection forum, I can post them here too if anyones interested. Lemme know.

I don't think that one can compare Bruce with Bob or vise versa. The Monroe Institute uses hemi-sync and Bruce doesn't. Either way one can explore that afterlife, do retrievals. Using Bruce's method, you don't have to take expensive, but very wonderful, programs at TMI to do retrievals.
Namaste, Mairlyn ;-) |
