Title: ironic and interesting Post by lac on Nov 12th, 2006 at 9:50pm
In thinking about Bruce Moen's model of a Higher Self (what he called his Disk) as something that sends out probes--physical incarnations sent to live a physical life so that it can explore and learn from it-it strikes me as interesting and ironic that we, as those probes, look back to whence we were sent AS those probes, in an attepmt to understand that, too. In other words, we come from there to explore here, and we go from here to explore there.

I think of it as seeking for home. When I go on a trip, I'm excited about the exploration of a new place..or even an old, familiar place..but always, in the back of my mind is that longing to be back home..where I'm most comfortable. :)
And..welcome! |

I believe our main goal is to understand ourselves at first. The best way some times is trying to understand the others, so a physical life time can help a lot. Despite it’s not enough.
I don’t agree 100% with the disc theory. But I believe we are all born from a higher being and that as long as we reach the necessary growing we will be able to have a more conscious contact with Him. At the first (reincarnations) we are learning and once ready (no more need to reincarnate) we will be able to work with Him (creator) in His work giving it our own thoughts and it will be a new cycle of learning and so on. |
