whenever I change my password (if my cache gets emptied) I stop getting notification of responses from threads I am participating in. so I log in, the old password set by the board does not work, then I ask for new one. I generally don't change it but leave it be at that point. but thought I'd change it this time. so I did and my browser accepted the change and so did the board here, so I'm just wondering when theres been a change in password info  if this generally causes one to stop getting their notifications?

Hmm...  Changing the password should not affect the notifications, because they are not linked in any way, as far as I know.  I will look into that when I get the chance though.

sometimes the notifications ended up in my bulk folder where everything gets deleted. I just now changed that selection to keep all bulk mail for one week so I can see if my spam filter was collecting this mail. will let u know what happens but maybe since my cache was emptied recently I lost a cookie... :-?

update: found a notification of a pm from conversation board in my bulk folder this morn which was getting deleted immediately. so changed it over there and saving my spam mail for a week now. I had changed in my profile to be informed of pms. a new feature on the profile thought I'd try. have yet to see if other AKC notes are landing there. thanks, alysia
further update: it is working ok. it was my spam filter all this time and yahoo had a button for "not spam". so I'm all set.
