I started experimenting with OBEs about 6 years ago. When I finally became successful, I became obsessed. Anyway, one time when I wasn't trying to leave my body, I slipped into the focus 10 state anyway. I suddenly heard a voice say, "I'm very proud of you my son," or something along those lines. Simultaneously I felt a hand touch my shoulder gently. I woke up not knowing what that was. Any ideas? Maybe it was my higherself letting me know it was good that I was diving into this realm of consciencness?

could be anything. You can try to find out using different approaches. Best would be you go again in this consciousness state and then attempt to
-go to the "place" where you heard the voice
-ask who it was and/or what it means
-try to meet this person

Either affirmate it at the beginning of the relaxation, or when you're in it. The first would be good because it would not directly force you to see anything (could be defocusing or make you phantasize), the second is good because (at least for me) you get nearly always results.

or you could just accept it as a congratulations well deserved and let it go at that. I get encouragement like this all the time out there, and boy, who couldn't use a kudo once in a while? its very difficult to break free from habitual thinking patterns in C1 and be doing this projecting stuff. try helping someone out there if you get a mind..maybe find someone you dont get along with, watch some interesting conversations take place then! if u got karma, watch it burn off. love, alysia

I once had an out of body experience where I felt like God was my guide. I felt like a little kid in his presence. I asked how I've been doing, and I felt a hand pat me on the shoulder as if to say, "good." So who knows outofbodydude. Sometimes it's okay to think big. An example of thinking big is when Bruce Moen communicated with the planning intelligence and Robert Monroe communicated with the creator.
