I met this preist today at a spiritual meeting,and he said there are no spirits as when Jesus came back after the third day,he was a solid body.

He was one of the biggest hypocrites,i have met so far in my life,i was feeling so angry inside listening to him preach to me and the others.

He said that the cross with Jesus on stands for the lowest scum on this earth,it represents blood and violence,and he knows that me and the others sitting there have problems coping with the world and he said that,also saying that people wear the cross for a show peice.

So i got hold of my cross,i wear all the time and told him,that i dont wear my cross as a show peice,i wear it because of my love for God,and he said"I quite beleive it with you,so i put him right on that subject.

Then he was saying that we have no spirit that goes to heaven,and i felt like saying to him"Well how do you think we get there,do you think our physical bodies go there as solid and not spirit,hes another one wears the white collar and does not live up to it.

You could see he did not want to be in our company,he does it because it makes him look good,he said then to us all"The only reason you can all do this is because you dont work and i said to him"I have worked all my life and the only reason i have not worked at the moment,is because my self confidence is on the floor" and also i had asked God to show me the way to go,and he led me to this centre,where i am being helped to get my confidence back.

Then i told him that God created the world,but man created the suffering,also that if our lives were all good ,then we would not need to turn to god,so through our suffering we are closer to god,he just looked at me.

There is a young man there called John,he is so unhappy,he cant come to terms with his mum dieing,and he was nearly in tears,he asked this priest if he could help him,he was desperatly crying out for help,and this preist just looked at him and said he would bring him a book to read next time he was at the centre.

I  felt really angry about this and i thought,whats the use of a book,why couldnt he have said,come to the church and we will have a talk about it,anyway when it was over i looked for John in the centre,i was really worried about him,but he had gone,but i am going to see him tommorow and try to get him to come to the spiritualist church, he may tell to get lost,but i am still going to try to get him there,as he trulys needs the love of the church i go to.

That preist is so narrow minded,he got on about material things are not as important as love,but hes got a big house and a nice car and does not go without,which i dont grudge him,but i thought he needs to seriously work that statement out he made for himself.

The spiritualist church,knows the true meaning of love and spirit.

Priests aren't necessarily wiser than those they serve. Some are, some aren't. They are pursuing their life lessons like the rest of us. Some are more *aware* than others. Same as everyone else.

a good post, because it seems such typical for me, maybe this priest was a bit extreme, but more or less that's what I have come to know from the two main churches over here in Germany. They throw in their words of wisdom into the audience and the audience has to be quiet and say yes yes. Actually, nobody says anything to the priest in public. Nearly no priest is referring to near-death-experiences or talks about reincarnation. And when you ask a "why"-question you get to hear something like "the ways of the lord are unfathomable". At least you didn't keep your mouth closed!
