I watched Most Haunted and David Wells was spot on with everything,most haunted, were at a war museum,with planes and engines,and he got all the names of people that had served in these aircraft,even the name of a german spy.

He got all the dates, and also got about a little girl,who had lost her hand in this aircraft,he just touched the engine,and that was spot on as well.When the most haunted crew got inside this war plane,the spirit of the person who flew it,was angry because he does not like anyone to get in this plane,so he made the plane really shake,it was great to watch all this evidence of the afterlife,and also there where stones being thrown at the crew coming from nowhere,also banging on the planes and the walls.

There was a lot of evidence there,it was one of the best i have ever seen,David Wells proved what a genuine medium he is.

Juditha perhaps the best piece of advice I can give you is believe what you know but understand what you see. I am a big fan of the Most Haunted show, but the allegations made againt their resident medium (Derek Acorah - Please don't take this thread off topic with further discussion of that) did put a taint on it for me. The 6th or maybe 7th series is the best because it features Gordon Smith, a medium who I find to be one of the best in the UK solely because he doesn't go around blowing his own trumpet, it should also be noted that that series features a lot less of the familiar 'bumps and moans'.

But now I'm rambling lol, to sum up ALWAYS remember that with ANY display of mediumship on television you have to put it into a realistic context. You are watching a 45 minute show, which will be edited and cut to put it into the context that the producers want. Many mediums will tell stories of then they have been invited on tv only to find their words and displays hashed to show them to be conmen, so any show where mediums are shown in a positive light is likely to have been edited to do so.

I'm afraid I have to agree with Senote on this one. Derek Acorah ruined the programme for me and I stopped watching it altogether since. I missed the ones with Gordon Smith in but I sincerely believe Gordon is one of the best Mediums around if not THE best.

Gordon Smith Rocks....check him out people....he wrote a new book recently!!

There are people who follow it very closely, i'm not one of them, as far as I'm aware no official announcement has been made, but if I had to guess I would say it comes down to  several possible reasons:

1) He didn't want to do it.
2) Spirit didn't want him to do it
3) He has other commitments that wouldnt allow it
4) There was discussion somewhere that he didnt do the new series due to health problems, dunno how true that is though.

Hi Senote It could have been anyone of those reasons,you have written why Gordon left the show,i did enjoy watching him on Most Haunted,he came across as a very genuine person and medium.

Derek Acorah is doing a new show about haunted houses,he is going to go to peoples houses,that are haunted and cleanse them of any negative spirits,when it comes on television,i think it will be very interesting to watch.

I would like to have a one to one with Derek,just to see what he comes up with and Gordon Smith as well.

When i went to see this medium called Stephen for a private sitting,the first thing he said to me and Deanna was not to tell him anything,as he wanted to tell us,and he was spot on with the information,he gave us on our father,he is a medium at the church i go to and he is really good.
