From what I have seen,our loved one in the spirit world,look just as solid as our earthly ones.They are just not as dence as we are.The spirit world is a wounderful place.The dead look like they never died at all.And most of these people that I see,are in my waking state.I do not see any misty forms like most people see.This is something to realy think about.George

I'm with you, generally seeing dense bodies or not much of anything. However, many of those with whom I've worked have had a very wide range of awareness. They generally seem to feel that there are beings sufficiently devloped that they no longer need a body. These have a tendency to look like mist, smoke, fog or such, or occasionally like points of light with streamers etc. However, when I ask someone to call up the ghost of Aunt Gussie etc, the result is generally a solid embodiment. I wonder if a lot of the appearance might depend upon what we are prepared to see?

Maybe so Dave,but what about my little playmate,who walked down the road to where I was.She died 60 years ago,and she was solid as I am.Her mothers face even appeared on the side of hers.her mother died at the age of 80,but when I saw her she looked to be 25.This is real dave,and I will take it to my grave.George

Our skeleton is what makes us solid in Earth and we know we leave it behind.  Maybe it is our level of validation that we give to the Spirits. ..  they Project themselves to us and we colour them in ...

Well, I guess that the diference between your version of "solid" and mine is that to me anything that presents itself as "solid" is to my mind "solid". That doesn't mean that it's made of "solid matter" (whatever that might mean), but rather that whatever it's made of appears solid to me because it has some degree of causal priority over the extended physical situation that defines me as "here and now".

In other words, to me, reality is wholly a matter of perception, and what you discover as "solid" takes that form for you because that's the way you experience it. Life is a BST, in that sense, and I have no problem at all in agreeing that you had a valid experience of a solid spiritual projection. Whether a nearby companion would have agreed as to the solidity of the vision is open to question, but it seems that if several people share a perspective, they also share such experiences, while "non-believers" do not.

But - this is my personal view, and to me it's real, valid and solid. To you it may be a pipe dream. That's OK - it makes my point.

Hi George My experience was ,that when i saw my aunt Josephine,she did look like grey mist,but i knew it was her and when i saw my Dad,he looked just like dad, i could see his features very clear.
