Title: Tiger Eye
Post by Cosmic_Ambitions on Aug 13th, 2006 at 12:16pm
Does anybody know what type of effect the gemstone "Tiger Eye" has on it's users? Also, what is the most effective way to utilize this gemstone for the most beneficial effect.

Has anybody used Tiger Eye before, and if so, what was your experience?

Metaphysical Properties: Grounding, balancing, earthy.  Promotes optimism, psychic ability and intuition. Stimulates awareness and understanding. Has been used to attract and maintain wealth.

Do a search on google.com
There's a lot of websites with metaphysical properties of most of the genstones.  I have some but haven't used them for anything metaphysical. I just like them. ;-) And many other gemstones.

I did buy a hematite necklace the first time I was in Sedona, AZ as the energies were just too powerful for me so I know that works for grounding.

Love, Mairlyn

Hey,  :)

What if we all (anyone who wanted to) "adopted" a stone/crystal, and then told about it from time to time?

I'll adopt Baltic amber but will have to get back to you on its properties.

I've got a three inch flourite sphere on my computer desk, makes sense with it's properties...

Offers a stabilizing energy, facilitating order, balance, and healing.  Excellent for clarity of mind, objectivity, concentration, and meditation.  Aids in grasping higher, more abstract concepts, and to be discerning as to the truth or reality of a given situation.  Balances and cleanses intellectual and physical bodies.  Strengthens bones and teeth, and is used for dispelling illness in its early stages.

And it's purty, too... ;)

Neat !
Here's amber, according to
www.amberjewelry.com/amber_myths_and_history

The Healing Properties of Amber

Amber acid is a bio-stimulant and has been used for ages to promote healing. Amber fights depression, and serves as a magnet to attract joy to the wearer.

Amber allows the body to heal by absorbing and transmuting negative energy into positive energy (ions). It is believed that wearing amber brings purification of mind, body and spirit.

New Age practitioners believe amber opens the 3rd Chakra (solar plexus). This is thought to provide mental clarity, balance moods & instill confidence in the wearer.

Amber, especially the inhalation of amber incense or vapors, has a long history of medicinal use. It was used well into the nineteenth century throughout Europe for medicinal purposes & is still used in Russia. It was said to protect one from ailments of the throat as well as a host of other maladies.

Symbolism of Amber

Amber was first worn as a talisman of good luck.
Amber is an alternate birthstone for November, replacing topaz.
Amber has always been association with good luck & general protection, particularly the ability to ward of the evil eye.
Amber is associated with the signs Leo and Aquarius.

Greetings, you all!
