Title: Two things driving me crazy at the moment
Post by SunriseChaos on Aug 10th, 2006 at 8:05pm
Hello,
Maybe I shouldn't watch so much TV. It really is no good for you.
Specially, these days, British TV is coming out with some very interesting programs to keep me awake at night, multiply my questions and feed my doubts.
Thay had this program on the other day about people who had undegone heart transplants.
During the documentary, they had the chance to visit the cases of numerous people. Invariably these people experienced change of character after the transplants that would reflect the personality of the heart donor.
Now , how could this be???????
If the brain is the receiver of the frequency of our soul....., and when we die we are not our body anymore.... why would the heart hold on to pieces of our character that made us who we were???.
They gave an explanation on this program by establishing a connection between the heart and the brain, as to say they are a partnership working together. Still it doesn't make sense to me because the body is just a vehicle and without soul the body is nothing.
If what they say is right, then our essence doesn't leave the body at the time of dead.
If they are right maybe death is really the end and you only continue to live if they implant a part of you in someone else.
What do you all think?
My second headache is people cryogenically freezing themselves, shortly after death, to be brought back when science is able.
What's all that about?
Sure it sounds impossible enough but so did flying and space travel a hundred years ago and today they are an everyday thing.
Will the people brought back be zombies like or their soul will be forced back into their bodies, or new souls wiil be assigned to them (souls that will lose out on the childhood experience)....
If Science was to bring someone back and they were the same exact person they once were before death then could we still truly believe in the existence of the afterlife...?

Peace.

S.C.

Hi S.C.,
>>>Invariably these people experienced change of character after the transplants that would reflect the personality of the heart donor. <<<
1. Transplantations are very heavy operations, mostly with a long suffering period of time before. Everyone who has gone through a heavy illness and suffering, I suspect, would change through it.
2. Every change of our body changes also our ability to express ourselves here in the physical. If it is an organ change or something different.

But, it's a mysterious world, and who knows? Maybe two souls are pretty close then? But, do these people say they feel like two souls?

>>>If Science was to bring someone back and they were the same exact person they once were before death then could we still truly believe in the existence of the afterlife...?   <<<
Why not? It means only the soul would continue an earth trip after having a break, or maybe even another incarnation between it.
(Btw, what they're doing now is scientifically a bad joke. Those bodies are damaged to a degree no science ever will them bring back to life)

Hi Spooky2,
Thanks for your reply.
I can see what you mean when you say people who go through difficult experiences change. I truly believe that to be a reality as it has happened to me personally.
But the thing is not that simple. These people don't just change their character to something different, they change their ways as to reflect the behavior of the donor.
For example, one of the cases I remember, this man was the less sensitive man in the world. After the operation he was this romantic forever writing poems to his wife and having romanctic gestures and such. They were able to verify this was what the donor was like.....
And your explanation about people coming back from the freezer as their old same self is possible but unnecessary and maybe even undesirable for the evolvement of the soul.
Souls should be able to start from zero not half way through a life. Don't you think?

Peace.

S.C.

Hi again S.C., yes that is remarkable with the heart's donor personality traits that seems to somehow given to the receiver together with the heart. Don't know what this spiritual is meaning. As we have generally not really the knowledge how a soul is "bound" to the body. I often come to think that maybe a soul is a more complex, various, "spread" thing than we normally think, but still one- finally I always end up with those koan-like paradox riddles.

And with the cryos, I just thought it would be the same life, fresh start included, only with the oddity of a time-leap. As if you were very long without consciousness and then wake up again (well, IF it would work, just in theory).

If they keep on bringing people back and people are not allowed to die, how can someone graduate and go home?
Never mind old bodies, they are talking transplanting brains of deceased people into young bodies.
I don't know, it could also mean that the soul has no free will anymore. No matter what you want if someone switches your old brain back on on earth, at least part of you will have to go back whether you like it or not.
I wonder if anyone communicating from the other side has had anyhting to say about this ever. It would be so interesting to hear what they got to say about it.

Peace.

Hi sunrise Chaos
I read about an animal (think it was a dog or cat) being frozen and bought back to life after a short time. No record of how the animal fared afterwards, but if the tissue and cells break down (freezing expands and destroys them), how can you ever hope to bring them back.
also makes you think about the frozen meat you eat!
love to all Cathy xx

Interesting subject;  i cant see how one person's heart can transfer feelings to another person without also transfering that persons astral heart as well.  The astral heart will contain the vital force of that person - maybe though the astral heart comes with the physical heart automatically.  but then the person who donated his heart would be left with no astral heart in the spirit world, where i do believe its needed for a certain amount of reconciling.

Heart and organ transplants happen fairly often - so in my opinion if we donate our organs we keep our astral organ which is unique to us - but maybe there is a certain 'shadow' left on the physical organ.  Organ transplant could be a spiritual bond between the giver and the receiver.  But the receiver most probably felt more loving because he just received a new heart and is grateful.

Freezing bodies is strange, lol here i think its people that love their bodies more than their spirits?

I will try to answer to that question regarding to my beliefs and to me being a molecular biologist... My belief is that consciousnes is a property like gravity...it exists...now I believe that the consciousness doesn't express itself only through brain but also through our DNA.....there are huge chunks of our DNA, almost 98% of it, that we call trash DNA only because we don't know what it does.....Supposedly in a heart transplant what we do, is we incorporate to our DNA the DNA of another individual, taking with us a portion of his own mechanism of conciousness and character expression....I believe that major breakthought will take place in the DNA research and surely the DNA will be connected with our spirits :) take care!!!

Sunrise,
Missed you!   :)  :)
You haven't mentionned the role our Spiritual Guardians and Helpers play in this. Like Antwhn, I have to believe spirit helps choose whether the heart-n-soul wants/needs longer time on the earth.
If I eat too much salt and fat, or tumble off a ladder, etc for some purpose, I could damage my body for those purposes, but not because I want to leave quite just yet (purely hypothetical.) So then maybe my Helpers make a deal (or already have made a deal) that I can use another body for awhile. That will of course alter my experiencing somewhat, but perhaps those involved are from the same Disk, so we'll get it all sorted out when we get back, if necessary.
Here's to more answers from micro-biology, the Pope, NDEs, wherever!
(Except that I'm beginning to think that each chakra/energycenter controls one layer of body, and the heart controls the emotional body, on which we put alot of emphasis. So transplanting any major organ that aligned with a chakra/energy center would make a big difference in the experiences of the soul, which maybe is a word for the total mix, or is an interpenetrating love-vibration that holds them all together? Gotta work on that one tho.)
As usual, Sunrise, you bring intriguing questions!

Now , how could this be???????

Every cell in our bodies contain every memory from this life and past lives. Therefore, every cell in an organ being transplated carries with it the memories of the donor.

Love, Mairlyn ;-)

Hi Sunrise I dont think that it will ever be possible,to freeze anyone because the brain might freeze, its starved of oxygen, and if they brought you back, you would not have a clue were you are ,because your brain would be useless.I think Frankenstien might have the answer somewhere

Michael Jackson wants to be frozen ,when he is dead, and brought back in a hundred yrs,sad eh

I think that brain transplant ,would be against the laws of nature, and it should never be allowed to happen, its well out of order.
Love and god bless you juditha

Interesting Antwhs, what you say kinda ties in with Graham Hancocks research on 'junk DNA'

:)

i hear what you say Marilyn that does make sense somehow i think that our cell memories are translated into our astral cells which then becomes the memory.

Thank you for all your replies,
I wanted to post something for days but I couldn't find the words.
Unfortunately this is something that happens quite often that's why I'm quite the reader but never the avid poster.
This topic has turned out to be one of those things, that make me stop and ask myself some really serious questions. I'm in the middle of a war between my heart and my brain and my logic seems to be winning all the battles.
My heart believes but my logic can sometimes react and hit me head on like a speeding train
Maybe it's got something to do with me being wrong, everytime I have followed my heart with blind faith.
Sorry for being so unreliable. I do appreciate greatly all the friends here, that post their messages to try and assist me on my road.
I look forward to the day when I will be able to be of help to you too.

Love,

Sandra.

PS Bets thank you for saying you missed me. Do you know you are an angel? 'cos you are... really.
If there is an afterlife I'm almost certain we know each other over there. :)

oh gosh Sandra i understand what you are saying .. it is such a condary follow your heart or follow your logical mind .. it's enough to drive us nuts!  we always think is this a test .. do i pass if i follow my heart or do i fail ... aaahhhh.

You feel when you follow your heart you are wrong because of the demands society makes on us .. it's not you Sandra you are being true to your heart its what society expects you to be and do.

i really cannot wait for the day when our society changes into a more 'lets get real, we are humans with spirits' state.

This then would be freedom (for our souls) being at one with heart and mind .. but freedom has never been easy!

i've (sort of) come to handle this by doing nothing .. letting the dilemma go and not turning left or right just staying centre.  i believe our greater us (upstairs) knows what we want and knows what we don't want (in our heart .. because this is what we do want) and as soon as we let it go .. it finds a way to come to us naturally.

please don't think you unreliable, that is not true, you are seeking freedom and that is lovely.

Love and freedom *sigh!
