Title: Technology and form in the Afterlife
Post by betson on Aug 4th, 2006 at 11:31am
Greetings,
How involved is the technology on Focus 27?  I've seen that you talk about musical instruments and objects,
but what about intricate mechanicals, architecture, or nano-tech?
---If we dream about them will they be there?
If we dream or meditate on say, beautiful buildings, do we help make them real in higher focus levels?
If so could this be part of our role, to help send potential forms to the afterlife, or would that just clutter the place up?
Or take the opposite, say lovely jewelry/adornment/ maybe even symbollic---do such forms have a place in the afterlife? Say you're not wearing it for vanity but to witness your belief in something it represents---?
In Voyage Beyond Doubt (Bk II), Robert Monroe finds it more effective (easier) to adjust Bruce's nervous system than to use a mechanical device, like an amplifier or telephone line. This makes me wonder how much metal stuff is in use there.

Hi Bets,

Everything starts out 'over there' before it comes into the physical. Remember in one of Bruce's books how he talked about him creating a new type of scalpel 'there' so that it could come into existance here?

Hi Bets,
from what I've seen of Focus27 there is, on the one hand, no need for technical things in a material manner like here. On the other hand, there's a lot of technical things. So, how does that fit together?
Many people there have been experienced one or more physical lifetimes. This seems to have left great imprints on them, they're simply familiar with those things that they are reproduced over there. In difference to say, Focus 23, the retrieval zone, in Focus 27 the folks are much more aware of the imaginative nature of those technical things.
Then, there is the aspect of planning. As Mairlyn said, all things start over there, or in other words, first is the idea in the mind, then you go and make it physically real.
Another explanation is that there is a technique which we don't understand and when we from the physical go there to have a short glimpse of what's going on there, we translate what we perceive into the equipment we know from the physical. It is not to say how accurate this symbolic representations might be.

I once visited a private place in F27 with a very odd building. It was a half of a sphere, the plane side under glass, it was very big, and was mounted on a pinpoint at its diameter-border to the ground. This would be totally impossible in the physical, so there is much creativity just for fun and amazement there too.

This topic reminds me of a particular vivid dream I had awhile back, where, I am sure, I was taken into the future. The memory is just as clear now as it was at the time of my awakening after the dream.

I was taken to some laboratories where scientists were undertaking various experiments.
Firstly, I was shown this very intricately designed piece of jewellery which was on a bench in some sort of vibrational energy field whereupon it changed into another lovely piece of jewellery of completely different design. A little later it changed back to it`s original design and then changed again.

Secondly, I saw a metal object placed into an energy field, was then picked up by one scientist and passed through a sheet of glass to another one waiting on the other side. Their hands and fingers would not pass through the glass, only the object.
Bearing in mind that glass is a supercooled liquid I believe that is possible.

Thirdly, I was gently pushed into what I can only desribe as a kind of well. I felt no fear whatsoever. About five or six feet from the bottom I stopped and just hung there, and there was no upflow of air to keep me suspended. I was told it was an anti-gravity machine they were developing.

There were other experiments being undertaken but I was not allowed to see them.

I found this all most interesting, especially as I have a scientific background and a very enquiring mind.

Hi Roger
all these things will be possible sometime, but wouldn't it be great to know when?
wonder if it is possible the military are already have a handle on it?

Hi Deanna,
Focus27 is a term of The Monroe Institute/Robert A. Monroe. It is a nonphysical place. There is much planning happening of what souls might do in the Earth Life System, and it is the place where souls are taking residence who are free enough to be aware of evolution of the self. Some say it is the same, or close to what spiritualists have called "The Summerland".
