Title: Music in Focus 27 Post by Rob_Roy on Jul 20th, 2006 at 3:10am
I do retrievals in my sleep. Guidance has told me that they are allowing me to slowly remember more and more of these retreivals.
Lately, I've been hearing the same music. It's not anything I normally listen to. So, I'm wondering, is there usually music being heard at F27? Love, Rob |

I remember when I was at about the age of 8 I was really sick and during the night while I was half awake half asleep and in my high fever I heard a really complicated and very very beatiful music as if it was comming from the best filarmonica orchestra of the world....It was surely something I had never heard before in my awaking hours and I especially remember wandering that if I was able to record that music I would be now very very rich :) Of course the memory of the actuall music faded away soon after I woke up....Now I don't know in which focus level I was, but it was something worth remembering.....

If there are any musicians on the other side who aren't in hell, then of course there's music in F27! (LOL).
I'm around musicians a lot because of the business I'm in and I've had some amazing experiences of hearing music on the other side. About 20 years ago I had a dream where a musician friend of mine was playing a musical instrument for me. It was similar to a harmonica but much more elaborate. The sounds that came out of it were more rich and beautiful than any symphony orchestra I've heard on earth! It seemed as though I was hearing what was in his mind. The musical intrument was merely a conduit for expressing the fullness of what was on his mind. He was a sax player by the way. Antwnhs, I really relate to your post above. I've wondered a lot about how to reproduce the music I've heard from the other side. The only thing that comes close to sounding like it is the Moog Synthesizer. And I'm afraid that falls very short of the mark. Also, I've read in Anthony Borgia's book that musical composers on the other side consider visual color structure when composing music. In other words they are very concerned about how their music "looks" when being performed. I think this is accurate because I know of an opera singer who has "perfect pitch" (she can recall and hit any note perfectly without any musical aid). Her method: she visualizes colors in order to hit these notes! Borgia says on the other side- tone=color and color=tone He mentions also that you can get totally lost in the beautiful tones that a handful of sand can produce as it falls off your hand onto the beach. Interesting stuff! Rob thanks for starting this thread. I hope we can get a good education on this topic. Rick |

Antwnhs,
I forgot to mention that when I was in the hospital recovering from surgery I had a dream that was somewhat of a "congratulations, you made it!" card from the other side. It included incredibly beautiful music and yes, fireworks! These fireworks were so powerful. They redminded me of military grade missles. |
Title: Re: Music in Focus 27 Post by Mendel on Jul 20th, 2006 at 10:09pm I notice a lot of cool music in F27, also. The music is often in a major chord and the tunes can be quite simple. I believe these simple tunes are vibrational markers of different areas of F27. Occasionally, there are words to the music, too. Lyrics are not my specialty, but my favorite so far is Love can come from anywhere, go to anywhere. That's what love is for. which at the time, sounded like it was being sung by chorus of women. My wife now sings this tune sometimes which I taught her. It is a blessing to bring music from There to Here. -mike |

Mike,
If you can, write the notes of the simple music you hear There. I've been taught music There that I've practiced and played Here. They were gospel tunes. I'm not a christian, but I love the music! I've also put intention/word into music, a way of sending out prayer in all directions, in a form that can actually GO in all directions. I don't know much about Eckankar (Paul Twitchell) Remember Eckankar? It was an O.B.E. based belief system. The one thing I remember (and really like) is that he said blues music is the highest form of etheral music! I relate to that, probably from past lives, but man! Someone in my living room right this moment is playing it live right now (Black Mattie in open G minor on the guitar) music is in my non-physical blood, blues especially. gotta love a thread like this, one that cuts close to the bone. Keep playing, Tim F. |

Greetings, Tim,
Do you think Twitchell's blues preference was related to the slide tones they do on guitar? Does it remind you of getting out of your body? Does me! Unfortunately that sound gets called a twang which doesn't quite convey the uplift it has. It would be wonderful if everyone wrote down and used what music they heard! Didn't some of the great composers say they did that? We'd have a new communications link to the 'heavens!' When I was young I had some favorite music that I plinked out on my grandmother's piano every visit, it always just came to me. Much later in life I heard it again played by a symphony, and couldn't believe my ears! It was ID'd as the first part of a national anthem of a now missing Eastern European country. So I can't help but wonder if music could also relate us to our previous lives (as explained in linear time which doesn't exist.) :D --maybe this thing is singing joyfully, not laughing after all |

tone=color, color=tone. thanks...I found this very helpful concept.
I think we all come in on our individual tone that is part of our energy signature, and that when we do retrievals or explorations we have this tone with us as our basic spiritual essence. Tim, I'm into the minor chords, so whatever my tone is, its associated with the blues chords and I use the major chords for happy tunes. I doubt chords are related to our tone base though. I'm just throwing out ideas. thats so interesting about color related to tone as color does influence us in many ways. they used to use light green in hospitals for the calming effect. also, I have a book displaying the colors of a thought form and the shapes of that form. these colors in my book look like colorful fireworks display sometimes, or cloudlike with lightening bolts for the angry ones. the higher thoughts look like pastels and symetrical. really makes you think about how creative we are. hugs, alysia |

Rob:
It has been a while since I've done a conscious retrievel. But I've had the impression that I in some way help with them unconsciously even while awake. I went to Spain recently, stayed by the Mediteranian Sea, and the first night there while getting ready to go to bed, I was shown a life size image of Jennifer Love Hewitt (Ghost Whisperer retrievel symbology), and then I went to bed and right after I closed my eyes was shown a moving image of a bunch of people walking towards me, hand in hand, up various paths that led to the mountain top apartment I was staying at while in Spain. I believe this was shown to me so I would understand why my energy was so active. My energy becomes active quite a bit. Quite often while sitting at home I'll feel a lot of energetic things going on, and see lights of various colors flash. There's one particular spot by a wall where I frequently see a blueish streak of light flash. I asked for some confirmation the other night before I went to sleep. When I woke up the following morning I was shown a coffee cup with "16 retrievels" written on it. The cup had green decorations. With the image I received the mental message that I helped with 16 retrievels during the night. My guidance uses green as a symbol of love when communicting to me (heart chakra color), hence the green design on the cup. Rosalind Mcknight writes in her book "Cosmic Journeys" that a lot of people in the physical help with retrievels while asleep. Rob_Roy wrote on Jul 20th, 2006 at 3:10am:

I find it interesting how good music is at expressing feelings. Some movies get a lot of their feeling from their soundtrack. For example, Dances with Wolves and Out of Africa derive a lot of their feeling from John Barry's music.
Occasionally I'll have a dream with wonderful music. Some NDE cases have reported that they heard beautiful music in the spirit realm. |

I wake up a lot with songs going through my head. The other morning it was an oldie "Cruising Down The River". I tried to figure out what that was about but I don't have a clue. Maybe cruising thru life?
Love, Mairlyn ;-) |
Title: Re: Music in Focus 27 Post by betson on Jul 21st, 2006 at 4:10pm
Maybe you could give yourself more credit than 'just' cruising, Mairlyn! :)
Cruising only happens when you're at peace and out in the flow. It's not possible to cruise if there are major blockages or if you're caught in some backwater eddy. Enjoy, Mairlyn, you deserve the full cruise! PUL, bets |

Very interesting concept, Tim. I guess this adds new meaning to the quote, "You have to pay the dues, if you wanna sing the blues". I've heard people say that "The Blues" is the music of the soul. There's a lot of suffering in it, but yet it helps you to transcend the suffering and find peace and resolution. And when you think about Beethoven's "Moonlight Sonata" you could say that it was a mid-19th century form of the blues (who can't relate to the heartbreak in that song. His woman must have really given him a hard time!). And Samuel Barber's, "Adagio For Strings". That piece of music takes you from the saddest place on earth to the highest heaven all within the span of 7 minutes or so. I don't know what he was tapped into when he wrote that but it most certainly wasn't "OF" this world. Rick |

Mike,
"I notice a lot of cool music in F27, also. The music is often in a major chord and the tunes can be quite simple. I believe these simple tunes are vibrational markers of different areas of F27." This sounds like a basic description of what I've been hearing so I asked guidance, specifically, if this is what I'm hearing and they confirmed it. Thanks. "If there are any musicians on the other side who aren't in hell, then of course there's music in F27! (LOL)." Yes! But my question was if the music I've been hearing is in F27 (or somewhere else). Recoverer, Interesting about doing 16 of them. I usually do only one at a time. Rick and Tim, I don't know about Blues. While I like that music, I think it's Choral that's divinely inspired! Love, Rob |
Title: Re: Music in Focus 27 Post by Mendel on Jul 24th, 2006 at 9:58pm
Rob Roy: I hear music in any of the planes. The music is simpler and more upbeat in F27.
In the lower astral, it can be discordant and almost scary sounding. Tim: I haven't recorded notes, but usually just sing them into my computer. If you want I can PM links to some of my tunes. I heard a really funny gospel-like tune a few weeks back in F27 or upper astral. You know the song "Can't hurry love" by the Supremes and Phil Collins. Well, it was sung by a woman, with almost the same words: "You can't hurry love, you just have to wait... That's what Momma says" Well, instead of the last line, she sang "That's what Jesus says" :) (I'm not Christian, either) Turns out when I looked up the song on the web, it originally started out as a gospel tune but with a different religious twist... something like "You can't hurry G-d..." -mike |

This thread is so nice :) have to add my two pennies worth lol
i cant say that i have heard music in my dreams .. but if there was no music in the Earth i would be miserable! music is so good for the soul as we all know - music talks directly to our souls. i really enjoy the current stuff on the commercial radio - some not so good but some really good. i enjoy the current music as i feel its a good way to keep in touch with the mood of society. Also, we have to applaud the 80's generation of music (not being biased here!) there were excellent musicians at this time (... starting in the 70's) Queen U2 Black Sabbath Deep Purple Van Halen Simple Minds Depache Mode Talking Heads Flock of Seagulls Jimi Hendrix Frank Zappa Bob Marley Peter Tosh The Cure a mixture lol but what an age of music!! hasn't been repreated since .. i dont think .. although House is great .. rock on music :) |

Hi All,
I wanted to share one of the strangest experiences I had on the way to work the other day. As I was driving I was listening to a concert piece in the recesses of my mind. I never play my car radio while driving because I'd rather be with my thoughts. It was a very complex piece and almost recognizable, then it change to a more famliar piece, which at the time, I mentioned the title to myself. Then the other piece came back on. I really enjoyed the private little concert for at least 5 miles and had the sensation that I was sort of in a slightly altered/relaxed state yet still had all faculties to contiue driving. I questioned where the music could be coming from and it seemed to resonate from inside my head rather than my ears. Usually I only have words with music backup that come to me in certain situations or environments. For example while driving on this same stretch of road on past occassions I pass some mountains that remind me of the pyramids I visited in Egypt and I hear the song: "See the pyramids along the Nile..." or "Take this job and shove it" when I've hit tilt at work. But this sounded almost unworldly or possibly from another plane. It was a freebe with no message or reminder except to sit back and enjoy. And I did. :) Always new delights being offerred! Funny world. Love, Jean :-* |

What I've heard when communicating non-verbally is choral tones, like voices or wind instruments combining to produce shifting chords. This is me improvising communication of intent through sound and feeling. I've felt/heard responses to my "sentences", sometimes accompanied by images.
I've always liked the comment about blues being a very spiritual music because I play tons of it and it always opens me up, old-timey and gospel too. Way back when I met a dead Holy blues player while obe which had a huge practical impact on my life. I play a lot of slide guitar Bets, funny you should mention the slide sound in connection with obes. Something about those blue notes and those minor sounds sliding to major really gets my juices flowing. Mike, I'd love a link to your sounds. Fun to read this thread. Makes me want to make the time to be here more often. In the meantime, I'll be here now. :) Love, Tim |

I used to be a member of Eckankar back in 1983. As I recall, it was Darwin Gross (Paul Twitchell's temporary successor) who was a strong proponent of blues music. He even had his own band and published at least 2 albums. Paul Twitchell was more into the classical music, like Beethoven, Mozart, and Brahms. He said that any melodic music was good and spiritual, while discordant music was negative and destructive. I myself prefer non-discordant symphonic classical and instrumental new age, especially if nature sounds are included. Blues and other light jazz is good too. Paul Twitchell also taught about what sounds were associated with each plane. These are: 1. Physical = thunder 2. Astral = roar of the sea 3. Causal = tinkle of bells 4. Mental = running water 4.5 Etheric = buzzing of bees 5. Soul = single note of flute 6. Alakh Lok = heavy wind 7. Alaya Lok = deep humming 8. Hukikat Lok = thousand violins 9. Agam Lok = music of the woodwinds 10. Anami Lok = sound of a whirlpool 11. Sugmad World = music of universe 12. Sugmad = music of God I later learned that Eckankar is mostly based upon the plagiarized teachings of Kirpal Singh, one of the master teachers of Sant Mat surat shabd yoga, who Paul Twitchell studied under before starting his own religion of light and sound. By the way, they both taught Soul travel, not out-of-body travel. Ralph |

Hi all, nice to hear you talking bout music, sweet soul music! I love the blues, play it and sing it.
Ralph, you like to listen natural sounds, I too, especially wind/storm of all kind, and special-especially trees' hiss. Could you give me some CD-tips? Spooky |

Hello Spooky,
I do have some good music selections that I think you may be interested in. The first is a cd called "Mountain Magic" by Nature Quest. Here is the link for Amozon http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0001IMH7K/104-5676754-1393500?v=glance&n=5174 I think it is the best cd I ever heard combining nature sounds with music. There is a great cd set that I have and love to listen to called "Between The Sea And The Sky" (Reflections on Native Meditations). It consists of 5 cd's - "The Bear", "The Eagle", "The Raven", The Whale" and "The Wolf". Here is a link to CD Universe http://www.cduniverse.com/search/xx/music/pid/5812896/a/Between+The+Sea+&+The+Sky.htm Another good one is "New Age Loon" by NorthSound. It also has an excellent blend of nature and music, but it is hard to find much information about it on the internet. Sincerely, Ralph |

The other night in a dream I was playing a percussion instrument that was silver, flat and round and had curls of silver at intervals around the edges. The length of the curls and the placement of the curls around the edge determined tone. I was playing with another musician who was playing a guitar and he was showing me how I could duplicate the notes from his guitar on this weird looking percussion instrument. All I had to do was flick the right curl with my finger. It sounded very cool.
I studied percussion in school but never heard of or seen an instrument like this. Rick |
