I used to be able to modify or edit my posts..I just got a new browser, firefox, and don't know if its my browsers fault. I checked two of my posts and neither has an edit place although I'm logged in properly. guess I'll just be careful what I say...lol. I'm going to load up explorer and see if I can edit with that.

Only recent messages (less than a day old, I think) can be modified. After that, it becomes "permanent".

this post was fresh by a few minutes and still didn't have an edit place after refreshing. thanks for your response Allen.

I used firefox and found quite quickly that it was not working fo me
went back to my trusty standby. Was reccomended firefox by a friend but caused more problems than it solved
