Hi this is the message i was given from spirit as follows

Well,where do we begin,from the begining is always the best place to start,come my children listen well to what i have to tell you,the day of reckoning is near ,soon their will be no more pain or suffering in the world,the former things will be gone,only to be replaced by a new earth where only love prevails,where man will sit alongside lion and be not afraid but will only feel love towards each other,their have been many storms on the earth plain,soon their will be none only sunshine,people will rejoice all over the world because eternal peace has come and all will be reunited with their loved ones who have departed the earth plain,their will be no more death,no more sorrow only love and contentment,happiness will prevail their will be new light in the world,light of peace and harmony and joy for all .

Ilove you my children,blessed are thee , for you are the children of god and whosoever denies this will not everlasting life,so be calm my children all is not lost,your father in heaven will stay by your sides and love and protect you always amen .

I will say this,this is the beginning of a new era, a new chapter ,which is soon to start.
In the olden days things were so much better than they are now,so much has happened in this lifetime on the earth plain,things we could never predict,ignorance is bliss and i,n afraid it is ,we can do no more than carry on at our own descretion for the time of the lord our god is near and all will be well again,their has been much suffering over the decades,soon to be no more,soon peace will prevail across the lands and seas,no more wars ,no more conflict to bare,we shall be saved in the new world to come,take heed my children,pick up your possesions  and leave them in the streets for you will not need them anymore they are from the old world,you will have no need of them in the new world,soon this will come to pass.

um erm cough except the amen part .. but that's my view that cringes everytime i see or hear that word.  i understand your motives are so good and don't need any attachment to this word.

As far as the word Amen, basically it just means "verily" or "truly", so if other people have tarnished the connotation of the word for you, just look at it in its strictest sense!   ;)

I too used to cringe about it, until I realized that the people, whose use of it had caused me to cringe when hearing it, shouldn't deter me from the enjoyment of the true use of the word!

definitely take my comments as positive, no apologies needed!  :) .  

I just wanted to weigh in because I truly related to your "cringe", completely empathized in my own way, and wanted to put forth my opinon in light of the perspective that I have now...which is not as much influenced by the followers as much as the Source, if you get my meaning.  There was even a period in my life where I let some individuals cause me to cringe when someone said they were a Christian!  It is funny how "taints" develop with the disappointments and disillusionments we sometimes encounter in life.  At the point I am at now, I am better able to see all things on an individual basis than I could before, and that helped with me being at ease once again with a Christian faith of my own. (and yes, there are individuals who still vex me! lol)

Thanks for your wise words .. you are right again; the taints in life that come about from hurt (really hey)  It is never good to dwell on the hurt because it only keeps it alive and makes it worse.

Attaining freedom is not to let these hurts rule our lives instead we, in the power of positive thinking, conquer all doubts, fears and hurt.

Thanks again for making me realise my sillyness and instead concentrate on my strengths.
