Title: retrievals of animals and dreaming Post by laffingrain on Jul 4th, 2006 at 12:51am
this from a forum member here; Rick or Richard H.
I thought it was interesting how two people connected in a retrieval, similar to PE. thought I'd share and he said ok. :) Rick said: Yeah I am finanly realizing that we perceive differently due to belief system, precepts, causes this.. Chad was with me in the retrieval of Spunky my dog...as soon as I mentioned Spunky,he said he dreamed of petting him last night...I about s*** all over my self...cause I saw Chad in my retrieval he was carrying another dog in his arms when I picked up spunky...He said this before I told him about the retrieval too. So I told him about what happened and he wanted to know how we did that so I had to go into the thing about both of us setting an intent...cause we had talked the day before about spunky and wondering if he was OK or how he had died...I know now that he is OK, the retrieval really helped me a lot with that worry getting gone. |

Greetings,
That's an intriguing variation---thanks Rick and Alysia! Rick, have you and Chad ever met again 'on the other side'? Do friends have a natural affinity that would help do retrievals? Bruce tells of doing partnered explorations or forays with his friend Denise, but not retrievals as such, as I recall. Maybe the affinity/energy fields that help friends on the other side is actually a hindrance when Helpers are trying to negotiate the energy fields during a retrieval--? but maybe the pet dogs don't have as much of an energy field as a human, so having 4 entities--2 dogs, 2 humans, ---plus a helper, is not so much to handle? And this example is also about that timeless aspect, that Chad went to help retrieve a dog when Rick went to get Spunky, even tho Chad only heard about it later? neat! |

yes, to add to the questions Rick, I was wondering and assumed that the dog which you saw Chad carrying while you were retrieving Spunky, was the same dog..Spunky and your subconscious was telling you Chad was doing the same retrieval. otherwise it could also be seen that it was another dog that was with Spunky (birds of a feather flock together) what do you think?

:)You know at the time I didn't even wonder about the Dog Chad was carrying, just that both of us were retrieveing a dog...I was lucid so knew what was happening tho I didn't set intent...consciously anyway...probably did tho and just don't remember. The emotion of finding Spunky was kinda overiding all other thoughts...just knowing now that he was OK...the helpers took him from my arms and into the light..I got a knowing that he would be waiting for me when I crossed over. And I had no memory of Chad petting him so he was probably carrying Spunky too! Just guessing on this.
No Chad and I have never met on the other side before, tho I have dreamed of him a time or two...but most of my retrievals have been strictly with just me and helpers and my spirit guide Carlyle who is always with me. But I helped raise Chad and we both shared a love for Spunky and spent considerable time playing and hiking with Spunky who loved going on long walks in the woods. Spunky was a kind of renegade dog...no tieing up,, just went crazy, fenced him, he yelped until people called the police on us...so he was a free spirit...went to the pound twice to get him and pay a fine...just would not stay at home...always wandering. He stayed in the garage at night and ran when we left for work in the am...gone even when Burglars broke into our home..LOL Love, Ricardo |
