Title: Hollow Heaven
Post by JamesBond on Jun 30th, 2006 at 1:01am
I randomly fell upon this website, and found it absolutely interesting. I'm not a firm believer or a believer at all. I just am very curious. Since you all have experience with these things, I want to ask a few questions about the afterlife or the world outside this physical realm. Oh, and excuse my ignorance in any matter--I'm very new to this material.

1. The hollow heavens or whatever..What sorts of hollow heavens have any of you seen? Have you only seen Christian ones? Have you seen Buddhist ones? Jewish ones? Islamic ones?

2. Also, in the afterlife, what sort of races of people are there? Do you see all races? White? Black? Asians? Do they all speak the same language? Or do people just "understand" one another?

Sorry if any of this sounds stupid. Thanks.

It doesn't sound stupid at all.  I'm right there with you, I also know very little.

Have you ever turned on your TV and watched one of those comercials about starving children in africa.  Who eat s**t so nasty that their stomach is all bloated because it's full of worms?  Or you see the aftermath of a suicide bombing, and you see mutilated children scatterd all over the street, and a parent grasping a peice of their child crying.  You feel that.  It's not in your brain, it's not somthing you hear, or 'comprehend'... it's somthing you feel.

Has a loved one of yours ever died?  That's the ultimate spiritual sting that I can think of.  Somthing you feel, instead of 'understand'.  Deep in your chest, a pain that really isn't logical, I think that's the communication of 'spirit'.

I believe that's kind of the same way it works 'there'.  Communication on a much deeper level.

:-?  Sorry if I was a little graphic there.

Hi James

The spirit it self doesn’t have sex, religion, race, those are features one spirit wears when in the material world experiencing a lifetime. It’s normal to a spirit once back in the spiritual realm to reproduce the behavior one is used to and of course it carries along ones culture too.  So of course there are examples of all races and cultures at the lower levels. Once the spirit evolutes such “features” become unnecessary due to the fact that the spirit gets a broader understanding of it’s real condition (who we really are). In the Higher levels there are no communication through words it’s mainly based on thoughts exchanging so at that level the differences start to vanish (language, etc…) and we start to understand why we are called brothers.  But as you know, many people aren’t prepared to understand the spiritual live as it really is so it’s necessary to create an environment  with could be understood and accepted by them  till they get ready for a more deep “real” understanding of the spiritual life.

I see, that's how I imagined it would be. But I'm still curious about hollow heavens and how many different types people have seen. I'm mostly interested in the universality of things in the afterlife if you know what I mean.

JamesBond says: I'm mostly interested in the universality of things in the afterlife if you know what I mean.

Greetings---

Could I just mention what I've read in Moen's work so far since I haven't seen the hollow heavens yet--
At a certain 'level' there are groupings of souls who share a concept of heaven/afterlife. So their view of it creates it and it is just as they believed/imagined. For ex.; Christians who believe in pearly gates and a throned Diety would have that, other Christians who interpreted their afterlife differently would have theirs, etc. So the groupings correspond to actual beliefs, not those established by denominations or dogma, etc. Anyone who gets bored with that heaven can get help in moving on....

As I understand it, the universality of what is seen is sometimes not immediately apparent. If one soul (out exploring or after 'death') saw an angel and another saw a cartoon figure of an angel, both would be confronting beneficent loving energy, but the 2nd might be thinking "oh haha, there's that angellic image again.' A third might see the same as a swirl of gilded light. The universality is behind the perceptions.

You've already named yourself as an insatiable information-gatherer, so I expect you'll have a fine time here!
