Very nice to find this board. I've just finished reading one of Bruce's books and enjoyed it much. I'd like to solicit some opinions to help me dissolve my single greatest fear. It's stopped my moving forward/upward for a long time.

Reincarnation. I've tried to view it from many angles and I keep coming up with fear. Rebirth into a brand new baby body each time........well, I've already done that. New baby, new brain, new identity. That new baby won't know I'm me. I feel like death will be for real and my essence is just being recycled. In my contemplations, I've noticed that this fear of that process just stops me cold. I have no desire to hurry my own demise.

Am I missing something here?

Welcome to the board. You know, I used to feel just like you. The idea of reincarnation scared the you know what out of me. I figured if I'd lived before and didn't remember it then I wouldn't remember me in this life and the thought of no more me was almost more than I could stand.

Then I read Bruce's first 3 books and began to 'see.'  I started exploring and finding out for myself that yes, there is an afterlife and reincarnation, but that the I that is me would never disappear. I would always be able to access it between lives. I have accessed some of my past lives too. I came to realize that is Ego that doesn't want to die. It took time, but my whole outlook changed and yours can too.

My advice would be to study, learn to access the afterlife and then things will fall into place and you will understand.

Hi Chuck I go to a spiritualist church ,and many mediums there have told me,that you do not have to riencarnate ,it is your own choice in the spirit world ,some spirits choose to reincarnate and some spirits  choose not to, anyway welcome to the board. Love and god bless juditha

Chuck, these things may seem important but the truth is, they are not. What is important is to focus on your journey ,to work on yourself. The rest will take care of its self.We do reincarnate and for most of us its the proverbial merry-go-round. You see, we tend to avoid the lessons that are set out for us and in so doing we need to return once more, this is what you are recalling at present somewhere within you , you want to stop the reentry, Well the simplest way out of the program is to do the work. Now that may mean many things but be assured the only way out of the game is to work on yourself. You'll be much happier that you did when you return to full consciousness.
