Title: Focus levels
Post by Cosmic_Ambitions on May 23rd, 2006 at 12:57am
Does anybody know if there is a limit to the focus levels... or are they infinite in number? I know that Bruce has described areas that included interaction with various life forms from other planets... I was wondering how much further these "focus levels" can go? It seems to me that they would be eternally evolving/infinitely numbered, beings the true nature/scale of our ultimate reality is infinite, ad infinitum...

Greetings Cosmic,
From reading books by people who have studied in other countries such as Tibet, where these explorations are more fully documented, I'd say that the realms of energy we call focus levels are perhaps limitless and that each has its own entities. ( For example, focus levels could be called the realms of the ascended masters and would be described and perceived thru Interpreters in other ways.)
If one tradition has documented say 11 of these realms, and another has documented say 27, it may mean that those levels are the only ones that are describable to human experience--and even those we have trouble with with their non-linear time and the thought-forms that attempt to express something of their being to us symmetrical human /primates.  :D

My simplistic mind keeps understanding focus levels as concentric bands arranged around our planet like our stratosphere--ionosphere etc, but I know that's wrong.  Spiritual Guidance has told me that "What you call planets" are more like focal points of types of energy... ??? , the bands being merged and sometimes perceptible if we're open to them.

So I have to assume we in our current state are limited in knowing all these focus levels.
Also, I personally tend to believe that when our disk 'blinks out' it has simply moved on to a different focus level where it can no longer be described/organized as a disk---maybe more like a tonal whisper or a song ?

The term "focus level," is important in mainly one sense; that is the notion that we can focus our conscious awareness to reach new areas.  Why do we not interact with those on other levels all the time?  Simply because our awareness is in the physical plane.  Yoga, meditation, hemi-sync technology all serve to open you up to an expanded awareness.

I think that categorizing these levels further and further may be interesting, but fruitless.  It is the exploration that is the pont, not the ultimate, final focus level.  Perhaps, there is a level we merge with God, fade into him/her in a joyous unity.

I hereby name that focus one.

Matthew

I, myself, believe that there is no end to the focus levels. Remember that this is a term coined by Robert Monroe for the different expanded awareness levels according to the hemi-sync tones. I do know that research is on-going at TMI with the higher focus levels and that they have developed programs that take one to them. I'm not sure how far they have gone, but the Starlines program (which I would love to take) goes to at least focus 49 or 50. A couple of years ago, I did a group journey with others where we went to focus 49. We were asked to perceive what we could. I heard a voice distinctly say I AM THAT I AM.  I was filled with intense love. Was this God? I don't know.

Love, Mairlyn ;-)

Isn't it possible that if there is a final focus level, that level would be all of creation in its entirity. I would imagaine that perhaps the final focus level for a C1 based human would be return to our disc, though maybe I could be wrong, I haven't read anything about higher levels.

Thanks everyone for your replies. I enjoyed them all immensely...

It does seem to me that giving focus levels a number is rather arbitrary in terms of using the number to count the multitude of them in existence. I do believe that the numbers are just used as a way to reference them in understandable human terms. I liked what you wrote with regards to some of your experiences in "focus 49" Marilyn:

"I AM THAT I AM."

I'm sure that your intial "feelings" towards hearing this statement in the state that you were in were far more intense than the actual words themselves, as feelings become a way of communication in and of themselves with respect to the spirit world... not to mention the senses that are indescribable/undefinable in human terms. I can only guess/imagine at the awareness levels you experienced during this enlightening communication.

I remember one time lying down on my couch, eyes closed, and instantly seeing/being aware of a brightly lit hallway; walls lined with white stone; at the end was a door with light peeking/glistening from its edges. I knew that this door led to somewhere spectacular... If I could only have opened it. It felt as though it would have taken me to a higher vibrationed focus level. I'll never know...

CA, it was very intense and loving, however I 'crashed' right back down to C1 right afterwards. I've thought a lot about who it was I heard. And I've been thinking that it could possibly have been my higher self or my disk or ???  After all, we are all a part of God. ;-)

Hey Marilyn, you're probably right... it probably was your higher self/disk. That would make a lot of sense.

That's what I experiened after seeing that door with the light seeping from its edges. I "crashed" back to C1 from what I gather.  :-/

I believe that DocM is on the right track.  Focus Level simply designates levels of awareness.  At some point, your awareness expands to the point of the source/godhead where there is TOTAL awareness of ALL creation at ALL times.  This is as exotic as it gets.  Some have called this the void… or pre-life.  Devoid of any experience, yet having limitless awareness of creation.  Bizarre.

Personally, playing around and directly experiencing creation seems much more interesting to me.

Hey Mactek, I guess the idea of how to experience and enjoy creation is in the eye of the beholder; akin to playing/creating the game vs. being in the game. You learn immeasurabley from both experiences, and both can be equally gratifying. Hence, this is where our grains of sand have landed for now... time can only tell where we choose to venture/go from here. It's all very exciting to me. It all feels very magical... at times "bizarre", but still magical.

Simplistic ideas may not be the truth, but they can be quite useful. I have this idea of concentric rings also, calling these "Monroe Rings" because I had read about it firstly in RAMs "Far Journeys". With this picture I jumped from a board of Focus 21 into the further rings and did my first retrieval, despite I only wanted to "have a brief look" at the rings.

My point is, the TMI Focus Levels is a system of gaining nonphysical experiences, and many report that it is quite good. Whether and to what degree they may have an objective existence we just cannot know and decide due to principal reasons.

Regarding the planets, your info is quite resonating with me, it's when you also see the physical world as a part of the world of mind or consciousness or whatever to call, then planets are just special states of consciousness, in the physical they appear different than from another viewpoint. Like the Focus Levels or bands, from one viewpoint they are invisible, from another visible, from a third there are different ones, other numbers etc.

Spooky
