Every morning when I wake up, laying on my back. Sometimes I feel like someone hits me, usually in the side or face. This is during my half-awake, half-asleep states in the mornings. I wake up in the morning, laying on my back, fall slightly back into deep sleep, than I feel like someone punches me, I feel it, but it never hurts. It makes my physical body jump and snap, but it never hurts. A few times, right during the hit, I've heard my name called at the exact moment I get hit. "Ryan!" *BAM!* At the exact same time.

Are spirits messing with me? I realize the above could be dreams, but I'm half-awake, half-asleep when it happens.

Hi Ryan, I too had this, it bumped me in the side, it was like physical, but only a few times. Also once I heard my name called, very loud, also physical-like, I then identified the one who shouted, someone I met in the physical wanted to show me something in the nonphysical. When I'm in meditation and fall asleep, often something like a shock, once it was like an electric shock, pushed me back to conscious awareness. I interprete it as either a subconscious reminder from myself to stay conscious or get up off the bed, or someone else reminds me.

Hey Ryan, I too have experienced my name being shouted to me upon waking from sleep. It's pretty startling, because it's so loud and in your face.

I've never experienced being hit in the face yet... but, I do hear this loud *snap*/*pop* upon waking up sometimes... I just think that it is the sound that occurs when the astral self is reconnecting with the physical body (i.e. the electrical synapses, or something like that).

I know that while I'm meditating I tend to feel the sensation of my legs being vacuum sucked up into the air... It's a very "strange" feeling to say the least. It's like having somebody take a hoover vacuum cleaner and running it across your legs. Very peculiar feeling...

Hi Ryan are you sure it is not Emily Pankhurst who punched you ,she was the leader of the suffragettes in the victorian times that stood outside buckingham palace shouting "votes for women"i mean she is in spirit and they can hear what you say ,so she probably heard what you said about woman.Love and god bless juditha

i sometimes have that kind of physical-feeling pushing or throwing sense just between sleep and waking as you have described. i think they are merely side affects of our own spiritual body re-synchronizing with our pyhsical self. so it is also possible that we are carrying with outselves the nonpysical contacts' physical feeling effects to our waking consciousness.  i have no clues about name calling, though. i sometimes get them while i am totally awake.  perhaps it is misperception most of the time, for me.

Ryan was just making a joke when he said what he said about women. he made that joke after i wrote somethings about women rights..thats why i remember it very clearly.

*edit*it is a blessing we have angel micheal to cut the negative energy cords later on.
