Title: So glad you're all still here!
Post by sengels on May 2nd, 2006 at 9:40pm
I read Bruce's site back in 1998.  I thought it was fantastic, and read many other things regarding OBEs and the universe.  I always wanted to get more involved, to start doing some retrivals myself, but then...  I got married, and had a little girl right away, Ah, you know how life speeds away from you.  Now that my daughter has started school, I had time to browse the bookstore and saw a book by Bruce.  I bought it right away and now checked back with the site.  I am so glad there are so many people on board now!   Everytime I saw someone way too set in their beliefs, I would think to myself "Oh, no. Someone is going to have to retrieve her someday. What a shame."  (i.e. That born-again from Trading Spouces.  OMG!)  I am so glad you are all still here and have grown as a community!  I can't wait to read up on everything and start exploring & retrieving myself.  Thank you for keeping it up! ;D

Hi Sengels-

You mentioned "That born-again from Trading Spouces."

I assume that this is a typo, yes? Then, just as one is a mouse and two is mice, I'm inclined to agree that one is a spouse and two or more is definitely spice.

I recall a newspaper advertisement in which someone wanted to trade a spouse. "Trade one wife forty for two twenty."  My wife doesn't think he was wired for two twenty.

Kidding aside, I'm glad you like Bruce's books. I work in this field and have found his perspective quite valuable.

BCNU-

Hey sengels,

welcome back! Even though i wasn't here when you first came lol.

I love Bruces place here and his books, they have helped me grow and explore and learn so much, this was a starting point for me also and it has definatly not been a bad place to start, wouldnt trade it for anything.

Ryan
