To relate to the idea that I included earlier in a previous post regarding the parallels between our intimate, natural, physical surroundings and that of our spiritual higher embodiment... I thought of another representation of spiritual/physical links besides that of the butterfly representing the souls' separation from the physical body... I see a parallel between the umbilical cord present at birth between the mother and the son/daughter, and that of the "silver cord"/"ethereal filament" found between that of our soul and our physical body. Also, that same cord of connectedeness between the soul/disc and so on and so forth, add, "however much", infinitum...  

Does anyone else see representative connections such as this within our physical world?

P.S. Another reflection I see that is not linked so much spirit/physical link, but rather contained within our immediate physical awareness is the "mirroring" effect that we must all succumb to as we get progressively older within these physical lives of ours. That is to say, the "punny" goodness of coming into this world as a baby... crawling... diapers... hand fed... (dare I say, *burped*)... And then leaving this world... crawling... diapers... hand fed... (dare I say, *burped*.)

Maybe this is an effectual way to get *new* perspectives on old habits... (that die hard)! LOL! ;)

Hi Cosmic ambitions Ive always thought that when a baby is born, it goes through a dark tunnel into the light of the physical world, the ambilical cord is cut to seperate it from the afterbirth, and when that child eventually dies one day ,its spirit leaves the body, and the silver cord is broken, and it moves through the dark tunnel back into the light of the spirit world. its just a thought .God bless juditha

Wow juditha, that's a an uncanny perception. I never thought about the separation of the umbilical cord and the separtation of the ethereal cord being interrelated as to our up and coming "births" into the new/familiar realities of awareness... I thoroughly enjoyed your take on it! :D

I once did the TMI standard exercise to build a balloon around my body. I "watched" it, examined it and noticed, it wasn't perfectly round but had a dent. I looked closer, and at the place of the dent of the balloon, a cord went into the navel. Then I looked back in the other direction, and the balloon had another cord also at it's outside, it was connected to a bigger balloon or bubble, and so on, like Bruce's report of his discs.

When I thought about this later, of course I must think of being in mother's womb.

Maybe everyone's disc takes on different appearances according to the individuals expectations. I enjoyed hearing your description of what appears to be your higher self... These cords/filaments are pretty amazing little things when you think about them! I wonder where these designs for creation (i.e. filaments/discs/etc.) are fabricated from? (i.e. Maybe there's a little fabrication shop just on the outskirts of town whose sole purpose it is to create visual designs for functionable ideas... LOL!

If that's a job over "there"... "Sign me up!" ;)
