Hi My little grandaughter who is only 4yrs old kept on about this little boy she sees,she has even given him a name which is Daniel. She even told her father not to sit on a certain part of the sette because Daniel is sitting there. She says he is standing at the bottom of the stairs and she smiles and waves to him.She is not frightened of him ,she seems to love him, she does not mention him so much now though. I told one of the mediums at the spiritualist church and he said that she sees spirit because her being a child her mind is more open. God bless juditha

Hi I myself thought it could be an imaginary friend but the medium said it could be the spirit of another child, so i dont really know what to think. God bless juditha

I wonder if we understand just what "imaginary friends" are. When children have them, their imaginary friend is very real to them, and they have the same one consistently over time.

Recently with my grown son, who had had an imaginary friend as a pre-schooler, the subject of a second but brief imaginary friend came up. He said, oh, that one wasn't a real imaginary friend, I made that one up to tease my brother....

His comment struck me as very funny at the time, but now I wish I had asked him more about the "real" imaginary friend...

When my brother was little... Before he had any input about religion (religious figures etc.), had told my mom that a lady "with a light in her" was singing to him. My Mom thought this to be his guardian.
