This is an interesting idea but I think I must be afraid of mine or have some block because I don't really contact mine. I just have interesting ideas,  and sometimes interesting coincidences happen after I meditate/pray.

Well they do indeed contact you :P, well I think help is the best term.

I have a very strong intent to do a retrieval tonight for some reason so I am going to ask for some help from my helpers and see how it goes, I have never had any success with retrievals but tonight I hope I do.

By the way, that brings up a question I have, what are some good verbal techniques when it comes to doing retrievals, as in after you are really relaxed and your intent is just right, what exactly shall I say?

in my retrievals I was surprisingly good with words, I hadn't planned what I should say. I somehow was a bit different in that state- more open, faster, clearer. Maybe it's the same with other people. One simple ever-working trick: When they (the retrievees) don't want to come with you/the guides, say you just want to show them a nice place and they can go back immediately if they wish to (which they can, so it's no lie, but the very most don't decide to go back).

Spooky, im not so much worried on what to say 'while' doing a retrieval it's more on what to say while your laying down to get it going, is it even neccessary to say anything while trying to 'initiate' it? or should you just rely strongly on your intent instead?

Hmm, gotta think how did I do it...I said in my mind what I want to do, and I imagined that some helpful beings would hear it and helped me. The words sometimes repeated automatically in my mind as it is when you're not 100% mind-quiet, but I mainly just watched out then (and/or did the TMI Focus Level process), because I knew what I want without saying it and I guess out there it is possible to notice what one wants without using words.
