Title: Quick OBE! Post by chilipepperflea on Apr 5th, 2006 at 5:11am
hey everyone!
Well I was just waiting for my Dad to pick me up and he was a bit late and I was feeling a bit tired, so decided to lay down upstairs. I closed my eyes and just started thinking a little, then a scene where I was me came in and I was down the pub with my mates. The scene took over but I knew I was is it, but really lying down on my bed. Suddenly i slowly fell backwards and found half of my body floating! I love this feeling! So I kept with this and slowly but surly my whole body came out and I was floating above me bed. I haven't literally floated since i first tried but really love this sensation. I then started moving up and down and rolling over in the air over my bed (no concious effort it just happened). I couldn't really see, rather experiencing the feeling. Occansionally i would get a glimpse of my room. I knew my Dad would be here soon so just enjoyed this experience, i thought I heard someone come upstairs, as in my Dad's here but just kept with it, (he wasn't really). Then this is the neat bit, the rolling started to stop and I lower till i was about an inch over my body and then it was like I just got suck in, i fell a little and was back in. When i fell my body jumped and all the while Im laying there with a big grin knowing what had just happened. I have never felt myself returning to the body like that so this was amazing! Guess it must be all this talk about OBE's!! haha! Ryan |

If you could'nt really see, how did you know you were having an OBE? and that your body was half out.. feeling.. can you explain more? sounds more like a dream to me anyway.

Hi Ryan, yes, talking about obes moves us futher into exploration and I see you are still experimenting. Hey Craig, the retina is not the only thing you can "see" with. there's the equivalent of the five senses operating on the other side of this dimension.
for example I was once laying on my bed, not asleep and I could "see" right through my eyelids my room, it was shadowey, but I could make out objects and their placement. its a weird feeling too. I love floating feeling too Ryan, it's like a spirit recharging feeling! keep it up Ryan! |

Ryan,
That's why I am glad you started all these OBE threads because you have me excited about OBE's again. I had one yesterday and will post on it later tonight. I have read about being sucked in if you are close to your body but I don't know of this from first-hand experience. |

well, promises, promises Vicky! ha ha! I'll be waiting, and now you guys are making me wish I had a recent obe to post...I think I've probably posted on two boards all the obes I've ever had so i don't want to repeat myself..y'all would get bored. but I'm up for some more adventures! that feeling of "want" it's important, I've found it translates at times to a genuine intention setting, that place where all your attention is fastened unto an idea, and your mind goes deep within feeling the desire for it to take place. well, passion of this sort, it has a place in our lives! hugs, alysia ps Jacup, I'm waiting for you to have an obe too! the more you study others and read about it, the more you tend to create your experience. |

Ha ha yourself! I just posted it on the Types Of OBE's Thread to kinda stay on topic there. It doesn't sound impressive, but I am always intrigued with any OBE, especially when I learn more about the process. Vicky |

Hey guys!
Well I gotta say all this euthusiasm and excitment is bouncing straight back at me as well! My levels of wanting to OBE and explore and learn have soared so thankyou as well! I know this was a real obe purly from my level of concious thinking in it, plus I don't think I lost conciousness at all throughout the whole thing. I layed down and 5 minutes later felt the sensations and then i was floating again. Maybe it was more of a lucid dream however because I didn't start the rolling or maybe it was just a underlying desire. There was no change in levels of conciousness or intensity so that puts me off calling it a lucid dream, but whatever it once it was a type of OBE for sure and a very enjoyable one! And your right there Alyisa, I woke up feeling fresh and full of energy! I wish i could do these more often haha! Ryan |
