Hey guys,

Need some advice please. A lot of nights I wake up slowly and see faces looking at me, not happy ones. They don't scare me but are more of an annoyance; like they are bugging me so I can't get a decent night's sleep!

Once I saw a massive spider on my wife; tried to grab an arm that I saw reaching across; woke her up once asking where the dog had gone (that I saw on the bed); saw a woman floating over the bed looking down. All weird stuff, nothing consistent.

Again, none of it scares me, just startles me.

I do believe in the afterlife, had some experiences in the past. Once myself and some family members watched our missing car keys appear in mid-air in the kitchen and fall to the floor, and so on. A medium told me once that I would be heavily involved in spiritualism in my 50's; am now in late 30's. Am I being "trained" to see stuff more? Doesn't bother me, just frustrating that I don't know if what I see is real, or my brain waking up and a fertile imagination!

I see 11:11 literally every day, microwave, computer, alarm clocks. Spooks my wife a bit because I point out the frequency. And I don't sit there waiting for the clock to tick over -- always just look at random times and there you go... 11:11.

Anyway, I digress! So -- the things I see at night... am I half-awake, dreaming them? Or do I see them as I wake up in that twilight period? I also heard a distinct voice say my name in my ear once, female, while in bed. Again, could be a dream.

I'm open to any comments, suggestions, plan of action... just so I can get a good night's sleep! (Background: my life is good, no worries there, work can be a bit stressful sometimes... but who's isn't?)

Will check the board tomorrow for any ideas.

Hi John Ive had a few experiences as well. My father died about 5 yrs ago and i have seen him many times in my house . ive had my hair pulled and whispering in my ear at night time . Im not frightened of it either, Its just spirit showing you they are around . I go to the spiritualist church and they told me to say this prayer before i go to sleep ,asking God to surround me with his protection of love and light and when i do this, i imagine this white light shimmering around my body . I always do this because it keeps the unwanted spirits out, i think you have the gift to be a medium one day . Is there a spiritualist church near you ,as they do a circle there and it learns you how to develope your senses to it. I hope this has helped a bit. God bless juditha

These are really interesting experiences you have there....Of course you may suffer from chronic sleep paralysis, which could explain why all these happen during the time you wake up or you fall asleep... You don't mention whether you are able to move at the time of your experiences..If this is the case, then it is a matter of what you believe happens during an episode of sleep paralysis...:)

I share similiar experiences and i do believe they are real. i also see spiders, funnily enough, and more concidentially i also always see the same digital number on clocks etc .. mine is 3.33 ... Aras on page 3 here wrote about this number sighting ... 11.11 Marilyn just wrote that now as a note of the time under 'the Cross' topic.  

The seeing of things in the night i can offer a possible answer based on my knowledge;

it may be your spirit is at the forefront and you are 'seeing' the astral plane dimension that lives around us.  It happens at night because your brain is relaxed and not taken up by thinking about daily routine work.  Strength is required from you to dispel these sights quickly as they must be viewed as an invasion of your space.  This been said your spirit will randomly look at what it can see when it has the freedom that your spiritual growth has reached.  By attaining (asking for and seeking)Spiritual Truths your spirit will start looking for the Love that exists beyond this astral realm. Love and Light will give you the strength.

Thanks guys, all good info. Thought I saw my dad's face the other night. I actually tried to keep it in front of me as I reached across to touch it. Of course, it faded and I didn't feel a thing!

Ah well... see what else comes along.
