Evolution? Um. I beg to differ. Creationism and Evolution can co-exsist. Virus's Evolve all the time, evolution is a real thing.

Deanna, my young padda-wan.
even amongest modern christians the devil is not gods arch enemy, in a allmighty vs allmighty clash. without skeptics, you would still be buying your 'i love de-prick acorah t-shirts'. it's all about balance, to much skeptisism is bad - true. but blind faith, can be even more devistating. super skeptics, are just people who have become to stuck in there ways, both mentally and financially to actually reason - in a normal and fair way. |

Sorry Girls
I beg to differ here...Like us who beleive...The unbeleivers (Sceptics ) have a right to their opinions surely?? My husband is a bit of an Inbetween but he allows me to travel to different places to chase my dream..Seances etc, He loves me that much, he would never laugh at my beliefs and lets me follow my path! He even drives me if he has to....So Sorry Girls. I have to disagree..Sceptics can be really nice! :) But I know what you mean..Sometimes you come across people all the time who laughs about it and calls it S*** , So what?? They can't take your belief from you so let others have THEIR own opinions, they are intitled to it after all!!! :-* |

I agree, with a lot of whats said here, skeptics who fullfil the role of that title and offer a balanced and unbiased counter point to whats on offer do have their place. They ground us from being caught up in every flight of fancy that comes along. But some skeptics aren't skeptics theyre hmm I cant think of a title so i'll use super-skeptics.
As an example lets say you wanted to test a mediums ability. A skeptic would look at the mediums around today and say "right some of these guys have to be real, so afterlife communication doesnt come through 100% it does come through in somewhat mixed and unclear messages". They would then devise a test similar to the ones done by prof. Gary Schwartz and Archie Roy. The super-skeptic would create a test that tests what HE thinks a medium should be. To illustrate this point, on my searches round the internet I found a skeptics site in the UK offering a cash prize to mediums who could pass their test. The first stage of the test was a series of questions (10 I think) all asking the medium to obtain specific information about specific people. Along the lines of "Mrs Wilsons father used to keep a small tin in his left breast pocket of his favourite smoking jacket, what could was the tin and what was inside it" That kind of mindset just totally mystifies me, its so closed I doubt even experiences with geniune mediums would change their minds. |

Hi Deanna,
I'm just picking up what Black Napkins said in his first reply and ask you if you maybe could accept that evolution is part of God's creation? Spooky |

So Satan must be waiting to change the bird flu from bird-human to human-human form because..... ? he has a flare for the dramatic? Did it ever occur to you that god made evolution like everything else? Do you think god is not capable of creating evolution? Would you compare god's creation of all living things on the one hand to the words in the bible penned by man on the other, and think man's creation must be more accurate? Don't be afraid of losing your religion by setting down the bible for a minute or two. If it can't withstand that, what good is it? |

One of the common types of theory put about is that we are all part of one big conciousness or existance, one eternity etc. Isn't it possible that that eternity has its own dark side good/evil, black/white. god/satan.? Because most people are generally good people, and the 'bad' people are a minority our perception of the afterlife or a higher existance is one of light and love, perhaps there are planets were good people are the minority and their perception of an afterlife is one similar to our hell.?
If people believe the universe and existance is born out of our own conciousness can our higher selves really be all pure if we can create the existance of evil? Just my thoughts. |

I doubt most skeptics even watch/read any spiritual stuff in the first place. I, for one, thought astrology was a load of B.S., and then I read about Edgar Cayce saying that dreams are journeys into the spirit world, we have astral bodies, that astrology exists, and then I astral projected by accident years later, etc, and it all started making sense.
If skeptics would read about anything spiritual, they would know the truth and realize they've probably done some spiritual things before, too. By the way, Nature and spiritual things aren't in conflict with each other. If anything, they work with each other but are seperated by dimensions or realms. The latter is the truth in a nutshell. |
