I'd been suggesting for several nights before I went off to sleep that I make contact with my
"Over-Soul" and that I be given a sign or experience to remember it by. Around the same time I'd been playing with the idea that other worlds exist right in the same place that we do. I woke one morning opened my eyes and spotted a very small point of light on the ceiling. I watched it for a while and it bean expanding. At first it started to what I would describe as boiling light and the changing into vortex white light expanding to fill almost the whole room with a low frequency sound that I could sense whirling vortex light energy. I followed it and I told myself I'm not afraid I'm just going to observe this. A blue color opened into what appeared to be a planet lit up by light like moon is. I had to run to the restroom. I returned to bed  overwhelmed with Awe. Anyone else have one of these? We get what we concentrate on.

Your experience seems authentic in that it's similiar to others that have proven authentic.  You may have interrupted it, however, and missed whatever was to form from within the blue light.  Do you feel like you'd like to try it again? Blue lights from Spirit often contain images about the future, etc.
Or perhaps you saw a planet being formed, from your belief that one could be---powerful!

My experiences tend to happen on a sporadic time line. I think because of my lack of self discapline.
I began having OBE's and opening up at around
13 or 14 yrs. old. I tried to share them and couldn't
find anyone to relate to about it in my peer group so I let it slide. However it keeps comming back I suspect when I'm ready. I've kept dream and
Obe log books. I haven't had a concious follow up on the one I posted yet but I've only half heartedly asked for one. Everytime I have an extraordinary
experience I get charged with a sense of wonder, awe & curiosity. This stuff takes work. I've had a long standing belief that I have a great sense of "knowing" when high quality people come on the scene to learn from. Bruce and his work believe this or not was presented to me from the dream state when I was about 17 or 18 yrs. old in 1963
many years before Bruce wrote his books. Jane Roberts & Seth, Robert A. Monroe, Richard Bach, Michael Roads Dr. Albert Taylor, William Buhlman and of course Bruce ring all my bells.We're very blessed to have these people around. Thanks for your attention to my post and I hope to have more of my personal experiences to add soon.

My son had a very similar experience, The light he seen was Blue in Color and he still talks about it. He has had other things happen,Like seeing my mother who is in the Spirit World and has had OBE's whilst awake...

I had a similar experience except I woke up with this tremendous sense of vibrating and a whirling low sound in my ears (a buzzing kind of sound)...my eyes were closed when I became aware, i.e., conscious to what was happening and I let it happen...I continued to vibrate like crazy -- whatever is in me seemed like was...I then wanted to open my eyes in the hopes of seeing something...when I did open my eyes all I saw was a deep blue, like a violet color and a round pattern like a kaleidoscope...no matter how often I blinked thats all I saw...I was somewhat aftraid that I had lost my eyesight but then suddenly I was not...despite the virbating, the buzzing sound and atleast temporarily losing my vision to this bizarre round pattern - I had a sense that it was all okay. I closed my eyes to go back to sleep. In that subsequent sleep cycle I had the most vivid dream of my life -- almost like a lucid dream where I could do whatever I wanted to do. Fortunately, I was having really nasty sex through-out the dream with someone I could not see, when I finally saw her face, it was my ex-wife == what a bizarre night !
