The question is, how do you know this? have you been there or are you mearly quoting, what has been preached to you by others?

What if you decide to blow your brains out, then can you go to heaven to rest?

You would probley end up being stuck on the earth, until someone could come and retrive you from your mistake. |

Deanna,
I agree with you. There is a wonderful place waiting for us, and God will be there to welcome us home. For all of those who don't believe this....all I can say is they are living a very sad & lonely reality at best. I can't imagine going through this life watching loved ones die, not knowing that I will have rest and see them again. If there is nothing waiting for us in the end, then what's the point? Our existence is of no importance if we live, we die, and that's it. I do believe there is a purpose to our existence...and that's all the "proof" I need to know that this isn't the end. I also believe that our lives on earth and spiritual lives thereafter are no cosmic coincidence. Therefore, there must be a loving creator behind it all. |

O' head in the sand, the after life is not some vacation where you have untold bliss. Its all about your out put , you reap what you sow. Its about evolution if you haven't got that point yet then your not studying the right books.
The goal my Friends is to overcome your karma to become balanced and move into opening your heart. May sound easy but its all graded and as you move forward so do the tests become harder not easier. The after life is the same, your here to take control of your thought patterns, thats why things move so slowly down here ,theres more so called time to correct your imbalances. Its so strange to me that people keep questioning the very thing they are so connected to. Your after life is your dream time do you always have bliss in your dreams. I don't think so, there is good and challenging within the astral, how else could it all work you'd be bored senseless in no time if it wasn't the case. |

We shall see who "had their head in the sand" one day. On that day when every knee will bow and every toungue will confess. I'm curious to know which books are the "right books" anyway.
Hmmm....are we now dismissing the afterlife as nothing but a series of dreams that go on for eternity? Once again, my friend, what's the point? The afterlife is a reality...not one that each person creates for him/herself, but a true place of existence and fellowship. |

Hi flutterbug ,i agree what are these supposedly right books to read ,i feel sorry for people what dont believe in our creator and his kingdom of heaven ,jesus died on the cross so we could go to the father when we die even if we had sinned . when i see jesus when i go to heaven i will hug him and not let him go ,and when i do leave this earth plain their is no way i,m ever coming back [Reincarnated] . hI dEANNA I will hug jesus as well when i meet him in the spirit world. I cryed my heart out when i watched him cruzified in the film Jesus of Nazerath. I really felt the heartache of seeing him die and he was the most beautiful spirit to have walked upon this earth. Ilove him with all my heart and God as well . God bless the world .juditha

Hi Deanna,
I would like to comment on some issue Ihave read in this forum...Now Dear, remember we are all here on Eath still learning...If we knew it all, we would not need to be here....I have had many many experieces all the way back from when I was a young child to present day. Iam 58 yrs. old still very much alive, and still learning...In my years here I have had a strong belief in God, angels and the after life....Thinking heaven....well, I'm not sure on that I think heaven is a personal christian belief....I believe there is peace for some after we leave this earth, an ending of pain, an understanding of uncertainties...but I believe those of us who die instantely or tragically get counciling on the other side to get an understanding of where they are and why. Those of us who refuse to believe we have died or am confused may get trapped on the Earth plain but in some cases are helped by people with special gifts to communicate and comfort those spirits and send them to the light.... This earth is like a school room we are here to learn, to improve our spiritual self and later move on to a higher plane..... Fill your heart with love, positive thoughts, and live life to the best of your ability...... |

Why does it always have to be so Black and White? I tend to lean towards heaven and hell being simply a state of mind, not actually planes of exsistance. Life should never be truly Black and White, that never got us anywhere good in this world. There is also some very interesting scientific breakthroughs on the edge, which may potentially reveal up to 11 other simultaneous dimensions, i believe that the refered 'astral' planes may lie within. |

Hi Juditha,
Does your love for God extend to those that Jesus considered his brothers and sisters? Or is your love limited to those you consider worthy of it? Did Jesus ever draw a line or refuse love to anyone who did not share his Jewish religion? Or did he love all humanity even the least of them. Is your love reserved only for God and Jesus or is your love a positive force in this world that spreads its energy to those who you consider are sinners. Love for God without love for humanity can hardly be considered love, but it does show pride and a sense of false superiority in ones limited beliefs. A valid question to ask yourself may be "how is your limiting belief causing you to limit the amount of love you express to yourself and your brothers and sisters?" |
Title: Re: peace in heaven Post by flutterbug on Mar 2nd, 2006 at 3:52am
Blue,
I cannot speak for Juditha, but I can speak for myself. As a Christian, my love for Jesus/God is not limited to him alone nor to "those who are worthy." I don't think Juditha's post in any way stated that she did not have love for all of humanity. The Christian belief system teaches to love one anther! One of Jesus's most profound sayings was to "love your neighbor as yourself."- Matt 22:39 This is known as the second greatest commandment, with the first being to love God. So, no...I don't believe our faith is limiting the amount of love we express. If anything, our belief system fosters love and teaches unconditional love for all. We are all sinners and not one of us is "better" or more worthy of love than any other. With much love to you, Bug |

***************** Earth is "Hell?' Right now as I write this, I've got a nasty case of flu. I have a deep gnarly cough (not made better by my cigarette habit), my nose is clogged up and I can't taste food, I've got a headache, my entire body hurts from the soles of my feet to the roots of the hairs on my head, and I was SLEEPWALKING last night (sometimes happens to me when I have a fever.) But I'd still rather be on Earth, with all its problems (as well as great times, victories, good beer, good food, good sex, and all the rest of that stuff.) Maybe I might still become RICH. (Now THAT wouldn't be "Hell", would it?) "Heaven." No pain, no tears, yadda yadda. Also no excitement, no adventure, no spikes of GOOD (which sadly ARE paid for with spikes of bad - but if you're lucky, you won't get too many of those, or to severe.) No, gimme reincarnation (hopefully with me being able to weigh in as to my new body, circumstances, ect. Maybe I'll even go in for cryonics, and stay right here in C1!) Life CAN be a bowl of sh!t, no doubt about it. But it can be a bowl of CHERRIES too. Who can deny it? B-man |

Well you guys, I don't know if there is a Heaven or a Hell, but outside this Earth plane there is the Astral plane. I've seen the Astral plane twice by accident, when seeing through my closed eyelides in the morning, and when lucid dreaming (by accident) outside my physical body.
If you want to know more about the Astral plane, click here: www.jonasridgeway.com/faq2.html www.astralvoyage.com/projection/FAQ_updated.html#diffworlds www.astralweb.com/phps/topics_FAQ.php www.near-death.com/experiences/cayce14.html http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=starry&db=* www.spiritual.com.au/articles/astral/astralp1_rbruce.htm#2 http://home.iprimus.com.au/terencem/thisisabbisquestionpage.htm http://home.iprimus.com.au/terencem/index.htm The above are all great websites about the spirit world and the afterlife. I'm of the opinion that when we die we'll all go to the starry Astral plane (Spirit world) with our starry/sparkly astral bodies. If you really want to put 100% faith in the afterlife, you can go to the last website I gave. The psychic guy from Australia seems to be very brutally honest and genuine when saying that his spirit guides talk to him from the Astral plane. I guess it's kind of hard not to believe in the spirit world when you can see it and it talks to you. It's true. |
