Title: Losing My Mother On a Train Post by Marilyn Maitreya on Feb 19th, 2006 at 1:22pm
My mother and I were going to be traveling by train. I got on the train and then realized that she hadn't. I frantically tried to get the train to stop so I could go back and get her. I remember running through the train, on and on, like I was was going back in time to before the train took off to get her. I knew she was crying because I had left her. I feel that I did find her but that part is hazy.
I felt real emotion in this dream. On pondering it, knowing that all aspects in a dream are me, I realize that I feel like I left an aspect of myself and that I was/am trying to find it. Is it my motherly instincts that I'm looking for? Living with my daughter who is an alcoholic, do I feel that I'm not doing enough to help her? I'm not really sure if this is what it's about. Any thoughts on this? I also dreamed that my daughter was having me listen to a song recorded by a man she loved. I wasn't paying attention at the time. When I went to listen to it, she got mad at me. Are these two dreams connected? Love, Mairlyn I just remembered that today was/is my mother's birthday. She would have been 96. Wonder if this has anything to do with it. |

Hi Mairlyn,
maybe there is a similarity in this two dreams: You could see the first one as leaving your mother, but also that your mother had let you go, as if you were old enough to start a life on your own. Then, the second, your daughter maybe was angry about you because you heard something which is part of her privacy area, so maybe in this dream she wants that you let her go like your mother in the first dream? Of course it could also be you are afraid that it could be like this, and that's why you dreamt it. Spooky |

Hello lovely friend, From reading your experience, I would like to refer a little to Bruce and things I have learned a bit. Your dream as you call it seems to me as have been a lucid dream. When we sleep our spirit travels, had been the way it was explained to me. The fact that you felt emotional prooves that it was a lucid dream. As the "normal dreams" coming out of the subconscious do not feel emotional. You might want to do some research on this topic. Lucid dreams are usually meant as a "wake up call" meaning that a spirit wishes for you to explore deeper. Wish you a beautiful thought, Anja |
