When you have Spirits trapped in the Earth-plane, Why don't their Guides/Family members help them cross over?
When you pass ,some-one is soposed to come and get you,what happens? Why don't they take you with them like other Spirits who follow the light?
I would love to hear anyone's views...... :)

One reason some souls get lost or stuck might be that they died before their 'time' by unplanned accident, suicide, violence of some sort, so they weren't on the schedule for pick-up. Maybe the Guides had other important things to do or the tunnel was fully schedulled for others.  
Guides aren't all-powerful, as I understand it.

Well, usually after physical death, people (the dead people) are probably lucid dreaming, and walking around their bedroom with their astral body. They may not even realize their physical body died. As for loved ones helping their friends and family cross over, I've heard of cases when this has happened before.

Eventually all spirits will go to the spirit world/astral plane, though. It's inevitable.

Pish posh.  Lucid dreaming may be similar but I believe death is quite a different experience.  No, I believe that those trapped have focused their attention on the earth plane so much that they are either unaware of a higher level or just can't let go of the physical or a belief system.  Their loved ones are there, but they can't see them, because the departed's attention is on the earth plane.  You can only see people on your focus level or those below you on a lower vibrational plane - not on higher levels.

So someone stuck in what Monroe calls Focus 23 would see the physcial world quite clearly, but unless they let go of beliefs, or their need to stay in the physical world, they would not be aware of helpers or loved ones on a higher plane.

That theory is the basis of Bruce's retrievals in that it is felt that for living people to communicate with stuck souls in Focus 23 is a whole lot easier to do than for souls more advanced in Focus 27.

Perhaps the earthbound souls are so involved in being earthbound as a result of strong emotional ties that they have failed to realize that they are dead or have other options.

In past life work I've encountered quite a few who spent a long time haunting people and places and only later were willing to go onward. A man waiting for his wife to die to go into the light with her. A man being strangled in the alleys of New York who was terrified that his tormentors would follow him into the grave. A "being" from elsewhere who got lost in our universe and couldn't figure out how to get back with its own kind. A guilty man who felt that it was necessary tp become a demon in order to keep on exercizing personal power, and thus to avoid eternal destruction after a rather nasty life. Lots of confused children who seem to be lost and in need to warmth and nurturance. About a dozen of departed souls stuck onto a Santeria practitioner.

This latter group, and for more others not described, had no interest in guides or anything else. I once had a person recall dying as the equivalent of a State Forest Ranger in Mongolia. He spent months wandering about and wondering where everyone had gone until finally a tiny spark of spiritual knowledge ripened and he found the light. He had no idea of guides, helpers or anything else.

in Bruce Moen's Afterlife Knowledge Guideboook, he quotes a participant's explanation (p.256):
When involved in a retrieval and PUL is given to an individual [spirit] a"scrambling effect" occurs whereby the individual is momentarily suspended, mentally and emotionally...allowing Helpers to move in, so to speak and grab their attenion or surround em with love, etc."
So their "programmed fear is holding them in some sort of state that the spiritual Helpers cannot or will not violate, but the retrievers can.
