Hi guys,

I have been very very interested in the afterlife (much thabks to this site) for quite some time. Im a skeptic though, so I'm really looking to learn to experience it on my own in a healthy way...no idea how to yet.

Anyway what im posting about is something really strange that has been happening to me as of lately....A few nights ago when I went to lay down in bed and closed my eyes, extremely vivid scenes developed without me trying to imagine them or even suspecting them...let me explain:

I rolled into bed a few nights ago and closed my eyes. Just another night, where I was about to start thinking about possible business prospects for my developing company (as I do every night in bed); suddenly there was a black lady peering down at me as if I was laying on the floor, and talking in a semi angry tone...or maybe it was more concern? It was very hard to read her expressions, but there were no signs of rage or yelling.

I couldn't make out her words, it was very blurred. For some reason I felt bewildered yet relaxed enough to keep them closed and try to think if I'm imagining this or I'm really tripping.

I opened my eyes startled and rubbed them to make sure I wasnt going crazy. I closed them again and she came back. I reopened and my thoughts start to race, because of how strange this all was.

Now, I have no history of seeing things or having dillusional problems....I figured maybe it was my head somehow goofing with me but I'm not on any medications and had not taken anything that could play with my head....I mean I didn't even have any food in my stomach really. It had been a little over 3 hours since my last bite to eat. Frankly I was freaked out...but I closed my eyes again...this time nothing.

A few nights later I closed my eyes and a room appeared...kind of like a science lab, it was slowly coming into focus but i quickly snapped up in bed and tried to keep cool. A second time??? "Ok, I'm either going seriously insane, or this is really happening." I thought. I reshut them quickly to try and get it back, as this could be an answer...but nothing came.

Has anyone ever experienced this...? Im thinking somebody is trying to get through to me...It could be a relative....It only has happened at night when I go into my relaxed thinking states where I tend to think about the future and try to plot ahead...its really where I feel the most peace with coming up with new ideas and ways to improve myself and my work. I do have one idea though....I have been neglecting my health because I am so busy with work and have been getting pretty sick as of lately....I'm thinking maybe a friend or relative is trying to contact me at this time to tell me I need to get myself help before I end up killing myself from neglect.

I have not recieved these at any other times of the day....If this is a visit from the afterlife it does make a lot of sense for something of this subject only to come at this time of the day....as it is when i plan for the future and to make improvments...it is also when I'm the most relaxed so I'd see it as much easier to tap into me without doing this during my busy mid-day life. I'm thinking the signigicance of the lab that was coming into view was because it could have been a place for study of the sick...meaning whoever it is is trying to tell me "your going to end up here, or needing this place."

The african woman did not look familiar at all though...

I don't know, maybe im just crazy.

When one starts to understand the nature of reality, and starts to open to different ideas, one mind shifts.

When this happens one is then more open to seeing beyond one's own ego consciousness.  So, when one is relaxed, and if tired to boot, one will see things when the eyes are closed.  What are these things?  Well, it could be someone in the afterlife, someone you would not remember because you aren't aware of the lives your soul has inhabited.  You could be tapping into a different lifetime of the soul, because you are connected to them all through your soul.  Or, it could just be someone who is passing by and you got their attention, because they seem to know when one is open and able to see them.

You are not going crazy, you are simply opening your awareness.  

Hang in there and try to read as much as you can to gain more understanding.
