I've always considered the whole "life after death" thing, never FULLY believing.  But if there is, how do we know it's infinite?  I mean, forever is a really long time.  

For example, what if God one day said "Okay guys, time for me to start over." and in a flick of his hand, our 'spirits' ceased to exist?  

I just think of forever, and it seems like there would have to be an end.   ???

Welcome Sikel. It seems to me that you just have to expand your consciousness which means becoming more right brained instead of using only the left brain.

Do you meditate?  Go within and you will see that there is another whole universe inside of you. ;-)

Actually, the only meditation I know is breathing meditation, that I learned during martial arts training to calm the mind.  I'm not sure if that's even close to what you are talking about tho.

A breathing meditation is a great start to calm your mind. We all have guides that are 'talking' to us all the time in our thoughts, dreams, etc. Start listening for them. Trust what you get. Basically this is what has led me to have a 'knowing' that we are eternal. We lose our physical body when we pass over to the afterlife, but our soul lives on forever.

Most psychics around the world agree that our spirits are created and born in the Astral plane (or spirit world). Psychics say we supposedly go to the Astral plane every night in our dreams/lucid dreams/astral travels, which is why it's so peaceful and Heavenly when dreaming. We supposedly receive input from the spirit world while dreaming.

Now, my opinion on the forever thing: Energy is eternal. I can't say it any better or worse. If we really are spirits, than we are constantly going from conscious (physical) life, to subconscious (astral) life all the time. Most psychics call our subconscious mind and astral body our spirit.

Yes, forever is a long time. However, I believe we are reaching toward higher levels of spirit pefection and Godliness. Time is non-existent when dreaming or lucid dreaming in the Astral world anyway...

How do you know that you will not be re-incarnated into Earth again or incarnated into another planet similar to Earth?

This is what fascinates me to the point of complete mind-numbing questioning.

Can anybody say that there isnt anybody like us doing the same thing somewhere else in the 3D universe?

The possibilities are truly endless.
